Is it possible to use a connected keyboard while the case is on the device?

No. You have to first remove the case in order to use the OEM Samsung Keyboard cover for the Tab S7.

Is the front cover removable or is it permanently attached to the case?

It's a one piece design. Cover is always attached to the rest of the case. You can only flip it to the back (open) or cover the screen (close).

Yes. It has a magnetically closure for the screen. The last fold of the flap is magnetic. The s pen is held by a clip and the regular attraction to the tablet. Short answer, everything is held securely with normal use.
