Why is the Biotin content 1000% for a child? Will that amount harm my child? It is far exceeding the requirements....

No it will not harm your child because biotin is a type of vitamin B which helps strengthen hair and nails and also nerve function. Since vitamin B is water Soluable any extra that the body doesn’t use is excreted through the kidneys. The fat soluable vitamins A, D , E, and K are the ones you shouldn’t take more than recommended since your body holds onto them.

What's the shelf life of this? I purchase this a few months ago, opened it and kept it in the refrigerator. Is it still safe to consume?

I used mine for more than 30 days and it tastes good if it's kept in refrigerator

It is a bitter orange flavor. Love the product, but I had to start my son off slowly (1/2 dose) since he is picky and did not like the flavor. After about two weeks, he was fine with it. (Give with food, not on empty stomach.)
