My favorite, low effort skin care. I love how easy it is to apply and how makes my skin look. It is a must and so affortable! I like to have minimal steps for my skin care and this is my favorite brand. Been using them for 4 years. The jar is a good size for the money and light to carry.

Helped me with repairing my skin and getting rid of redness on my forehead and embarrassing flakes on my eyebrows and hairline. Feels really refreshing and quickly absorbs into the skin.

Wow, I am very impressed with this cream. I was hesitant on using it at first since I did not have a good experience using Korean Skincare products, but I’m glad I gave Japanese skincare line a try. I just started using it last night and with all honesty, majority of the redness on my cheeks have calmed and diminished. I was shocked waking up this morning to a glowing even skin tone! I have mild rosacea, dry-normal and sensitive skin on my face and this is the first product that has really worked for adding moisture. I have tried so many skincare brands, from PCA, Dermalogica, COSRX, First Aid Beauty, Peter Thomas Roth, to pure Hyaluronic acid and Rose Hip Oil on its own and none of them gave me the deep hydration my skin needed. Texture Expectation: The texture of this cream is very light and silky. When applied it does not feel compact or condensed, however it does make the face appear very dewy/oily. The feeling of how hydrated your skin feels makes up for it. Gave 4 Stars because it’s a new product I just tried and it’s too soon to tell of major benefits. I will follow up with photos and additional feedback in a few weeks to show longer results. Besides this cream, I do use more products in my routine. I love this skin cream so much. It can be used night or day, though I typically use it in the evenings. I wash my face, add actives and serums, and then I lightly mist my face before applying this cream in a dime to quarter sized amount. It feels so luxurious, and makes my skin so supple and pretty. Once this products has dried down and absorbed a bit, a minute or two, I add an occlusive product over it such as a lighter lotion or heavier moisturizer, depending on my skin needs for that day. It's important to add this on top of dampened skin and to then lock that moisture in with an occlusive so it won't draw all of the moisture out of your skin and dry up. Otherwise, you defeat the purpose of using hyaluronic acid products and the result is skin that is desperate for hydration. That is key for all products and serums containing hyaluronic acid. I love a few products in this brand's line, and the deep cleansing oil, hydrating foaming face wash, and this plumping cream are what I continue to repurchase time and time again I love waking up in the morning with hydrated, plump skin that is so soft and healthy-looking. The price on this is pretty stellar as well- it lasts me a couple of months, and I use it most evenings. Love, love, love this stuff! It has never made me overly greasy or caused any irritations or breakouts. It does wonders for making my fine lines and neck look great! I use either tretinoin or BHA treatment every single night, and my skin never gets dried out or crepey because I use this product religiously.

• PREFACE • I recently found out that I have Fungal Acne, aka Malassezia (or technically: Pityrosporum Folliculitis, an overgrowth of yeast on the skin which invades facial pores & causes bumps). I was previously using Neutrogena Hydro Boost for Extra Dry Skin (the fragrance free version). I liked that moisturizer, but it has ingredients that feed the yeast. I've been looking for a similar replacement, but something that won't trigger my condition. This moisturizer is listed as FA safe on the Folliculitis Scout website, and was recommended on the SimpleSkincareScience blog, so I thought I'd give it a try. • THOUGHTS • Fact is, I love this water gel moisturizer sooo much more than Neutrogena Hydro Boost!! The price is better. The texture is amazing. No more FA flares! 💃 Hydroxyethyl Urea is the 2nd ingredient, which makes this product lightly exfoliating & helps with dry flakes. I love that this gel cream contains multiple types of Hyaluronic Acid & Collagen. When I apply this my skin feels plump & bouncy, fine lines are diminished, and the moisturizing effects last for 24+ hours. *A little goes a long way!* There IS fragrance added to this product, but it just smells like typical skincare to me. The scent is light, clean, fresh, and pretty much negligible once applied. I have very sensitive/highly reactive skin and I've experienced nothing but positive results from this cream. It feels wonderfully refreshing & absorbs quickly, but best of all - it doesn't pill when used with other products! (which wasn't the case for me with Hydro Boost). If there was one thing I could change about this product, it'd be the packaging. Initially I thought the square glass jar looked very sleek online, but it's actually kinda bulky & cumbersome to handle IRL. The lid can be finicky to screw back on - but I can overlook that - given how nice the cream is inside. Anyone with dexterity issues will probably find securing the square top onto the jar difficult & frustrating. It is a pretty container with a high-end look to it, though. • FINAL CONCLUSION • Even though I've had to reconstruct my entire skincare routine around this giant PITA, known as Fungal Acne, I'm not even mad... because there ARE cosmetically elegant, highly effective, affordable products that we CAN use to have beautiful skin! This product from Hado Labo is one such thing. I highly recommend this water gel moisturizer to everyone suffering with Fungal Acne - and anyone just wanting a luxurious upgrade from Neutrogena Hydro Boost! As long as I don't develop any kind of weird allergy to this product in the future, I will definitely continue to repurchase.

So, why a Perfect product comes in a jar? I don't understand it, and if it wasn't for this little and important detail, I'd be an avid returning customer. Urea is like magic for irritated skin, like winter skin after blizzards and wind, or if you are in Retin-A. Urea is a well researched component. The properties are endless: its softens skin, even the skin that it's rocky calloused/dead skin (like feet or hands). This carbamide improves the skin barrier function, and as a bonus, improves antimicrobial defense. That's why it's so fantastic to smooth skin, by regulating the dead skin cells cycle, and it's my all time favorite ingredient during the east coast winter! And this cream is just that, a simple moisturizer, the ultimate moisturizer, with a whopping 5% of Urea. I say whopping, because yes, you can find higher concentrations, but normally the ingredient list is too long (meaning, not great ingredients in it), and bad for acne-prone skin. This is a basic urea moisturizer with 3 different types of hyaluronic acid and 5% urea. The feel is so good, like a cold gel/cream, and it leaves glowing and softer skin right after the application. In fact, with regular application you can see the lightning and glowing effect. The problem? The jar, a container that helps to fade all the magic away every time you open it. It's like having the best c-serum in a jar. It's useless after short time. And this is what happens with the plumping lotion: you notice the texture is stickier, like drier, and you don't get as much hydration as after opening. To my happiness I can still get the benefit of Urea using the hada labo premium lotion, that it's great and protected, an so lightweight.

I was SOOOO excited to finally try this after hearing so much hype about it. IT LIVES UP TO THE HYPE! 👏👏 This has no scent which is a positive for those who are turned off or are sensitive to fragrance. It is also much more lightweight on the skin than I expected. I could definitely use this for daytime. Nighttime will work as well, although I might add in a dab of heavier night moisturizer on top of for personal preference on some nights, depending on how my skin feels. What surprised me is that there is “something” so different, so unique and special about this product that is hard for me to put into words. As I applied it onto my face, I felt the lightest, most smooth layer of buttery fat in the BEST way possible!! Might be the collagen? Hyaluronic acid is also in this product and I am aware, but I also have other face moisturizers with hyaluronic acid, and this product JUST FEELS.. DIFFERENT.. in the way I described.. like the lightest ever layer of heavenly fat that my skin needed. My skin was literally screaming “Where have you been all my life?” This buttery goodness on the skin is not overwhelming and not greasy at all like animal fat or putting oil or Vaseline on your face. The only thing I can think of that is giving me this heavenly effect is the Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen or merely it’s their prefect combination of ingredients. After my skin has had time to soak up, what’s left is SUPPLE, ULTRA SOFT, VELVETY, HYDRATED skin. So supple, so soft, so velvety, so hydrated. It’s just simply LUXURIOUS. Have I found my holy grail?!! I’m glad I finally gave this product a chance. I know this product is “not new”. In fact, I think it’s been around awhile? I have spent upwards of $40-$80 on other face creams and they do not compare. This product is $18!!!!! That’s crazy. I think I will keep buying this product for a very long time. I had folks in the skin care community raving (more like whispering as to not give away their secret) about this product—sometimes when a product goes viral, price tends to also skyrocket. I plan to also purchase Hada Labo’s overnight treatment. If the gel cream is already this good, I cannot wait to see what the overnight does to my skin. I just started on this gel cream and will also add in the overnight treatment shortly, so I may come back to update on any long term changes to my skin texture, plumping, brightness and if any effects with the formation of fine lines in the various areas of my face that I’m trying to slow down.

Update number a million: I have been using this since 2018 and am on my 8 jar and I love it just the same! Truly my favorite moisturizer I always keep coming back to it when trying new things. I am about to get my 9th jar (you can’t stop me!) Update: so I’ve bought this product like 5-6 times now and it is still my favorite humectant. Absolutely the best out there my skin loooves it. It absorbs beautifully and leaves a nice glow behind it as wonderful barrier and layers nicely with my sun protectant or makeup. Seriously if you’re honking of buying it give it a try. First of all I had never heard of this product before, I do swear by any and most kind of “gel” creams cause they seem to be the only ones that work with my skin type to retain and obtain moisture levels. I first heard of this product while watching a Dr. Dray video on YouTube and I am so glad I jumped on it and bought it. From the very first application I noticed a difference. It helps retain moisture after showers or after spritzing water on face. I use this at least twice a day (morning and night). Morning: step 1. Cleanse with CeraVe foaming facial cleanser or use witch hazel with a pad to freshen up 2. Rose water spray or just water drops from when I shower 😂 don’t pat dry! 3. Hada Labo awesome plumping gel cream! 4. SUNSCREEN all day everyday Nighttime: 1. Cleanse wit CeraVe 2. Don’t pat skin dry! 3. That’s it This gel cream has been a beautiful addition to my skin care routine. Had definitely become a staple on my regimen. I’m scared they’ll stop selling it so I might bulk buy a bit just to make sure I don’t run out 😂 Update: Just got my 4th jar and honestly I love it more every time. Biggest fear is running out of it. Absolutely lovely and beautiful formula. No fragrance is always a plus.

I waited a bit to write a review in order to see the results. I have to say that I love this product, the texture, how quickly it absorbs, the lack of greasy feeling that I hate and at the same time the good hydration power. It's really fantastic. I'll buy it again

This a gel like cream and goes on really nice. It is very moisturizing and a very light consistency. I have normal to dry skin and it absorbs really well. I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin . I would be interested to know what the ingredients are. I've been using this cream for a month now so I wanted to give a recent review. This cream is absolutely wonderful, very moisturizing and not greasy at all. I've spent a lot more on high end creams and they were definitely not as good as this one. I love this cream and would definitely buy it again.
