Tasty! Easy to Use.
The product tastes great. It's a tad on the "wet" side, but if you cook it down for a few minutes before stirring in the paella rice you'll likely have good results. I also found that this product isn't overly salty, which leaves room for additional seasoning (or not) at the end of the cooking process.

I keep several jars on hand. Far and away the richest, best tasting sofrito I've ever tasted. Matiz is always reliable to top-quality Spanish products. Highest recommendation!

Arrived moldy
This bottle of sofrito arrived today in a package containing 4 other items. The package & bubble wrap were all intact & the other 4 items were undamaged. This Matiz, sofrito, however, had leaked - apparently some time ago. The bottle lid is covered in green mold & the bottle itself along with the bubble wrap are coated with a thick, gooey black mold. It is clearly inedible, in fact, it’s a bit scary. I took a couple of photos. but could not get them to transfer onto this review. I tried to request a refund, but for some reason I couldn’t get that feature to work either, perhaps because it is a food item. I will gladly submit my photos if I can get some tech help. I have ordered this product before; it arrived in good shape & was delicious. This time, however, it is disgusting. Please send me a refund.

$30 wasted. Not returnable: perishable item. Bad news: lid seal didn't hold, lid was cracked open product leaked out. Good news: bubble wrap and tape around the jar didn't leak, keeping my other items in the box free of contamination.
