Reliability and ease to use
Very happy with my purchase, easy set up no batteries needed. large easy to read numbers. Humidity meter also easy to read. I bought it for my guinea pigs. I hung it with an airy spacer between their habitat and the thermometer so I can get a good reading I can see if the room is getting too hot or too cold or if the humidity is rising. Not expensive at all

Temp was off out of the box but can be "set".
Got it out of the box and the temp was way off. On the back you can grab the mechanism for the temperature assembly (round plastic in the middle) and turn it to set the temperature. Don't know if this is the way it's supposed to be or mine wasn't glued in but just know you can try that if it doesn't read right.. never had to "set" an outdoor thermometer, lol.. other wise it's just as promised and seems to work well..haven't had enough time to judge the accuracy of the humidity Guage but the temp seems good to go...

Close enough
Easy to read. Temperature is within a degree or so according to my instant read thermometer. lower temps seem high, higher temps seem low, so I'll wait a bit to try adjusting. Slip of paper packed with it say to call customer service, but no contact info there or on the internet. It's pretty close anyway. Otherwise easy to mount with a small screw anchor (NOT included)

not reliable
in cold weather it freeze up and does not read accurately. the moment there is any sun on it, it also shoots up hotter than what it is. temperate weather and in the shade it reads ok

Exactly what I expected
The thermometer is exactly wha I expected - easy to read, and seems accurate.

Dismayed at the accuracy
I've had this thermometer now for about 2 weeks and I've had to tweak it about a half dozen times! Any where from 2 degrees off to 10 degrees! The aesthetics are nice but the mechanics are more like that of a toy as oppose to a tool.

easy to read from outside vary accurate

This thermometer / hygrometer looks great on my dark green steel siding and it is easy to read from a distance. The accuracy is not bad, the temperature is accurate within plus or minus a couple of degrees and the humidity about plus or minus 3 percent. Overall it is a good instrument for the money.
