Great Dropper regardless of budget
Replaced externally routed Specialized Command Post on 2013 Stumpjumper FSR. I never really like the Command Post for a few reasons; only 3 positions and stiff lever action. Command Post eventually failed and since I’m planning to replace the Stumpjumper soon I didn’t want to spend too much. The PNW Cascade is amazing for the price! Smooth and easy lever action, infinite drop within the travel, and so far more reliable than the Command Post ever was. Almost makes me question how much better a dropper for twice the price could possibly be.

Game changer
I'm 5-9" and the 125mm was perfect for me fully extended. I almost went with the 150 and it would have been to tall. I'd say you'd have to be at least 6ft to use a 150mm. Great product easy install

Received a used post, broken and missing parts - discovered just at end of installation
The last owner of this "New" seat post clearly had a bad experience and returned it. The 'cable' end, which is really nylon, was broken, and parts were missing inside the actuator area. There appear to be signs of the actuator sliding before, but a critical pin or part seems to be missing. Pretty frustrated that I ordered a 'new' post, installed it, only to learn that 1) I can't ride now and 2) I need to drive to UPS store and wait in line because it appears they tried to off a used post on me. Not happy.

Actual weight was about 70 grams more than advertised, otherwise works fine.
My previous (3) dropper posts were all 100mm KS top wires, the 31.6mm version stuck at 80mm so I tried this one out that's a mid-post attachment. It's great. 125mm is plenty for me at 5 foot 8. Works fine every time so far. The only disappointment was that the 125mm 30.9 version (I have a 31.6mm conversion shim in there in case I want to switch it with a different bike) was advertised to weigh 525 grams, which is pretty light for a dropper post, especially one for under $200. This was 596 grams actual weight. That's a big difference. Oh well. I can't install the 453 gram (I verified it on the scale before returning) One-Up V2 dropper because I don't have internal routing on the XC bike, so I bought this PNW one instead. Again, it works great as long as you don't mind a 600g post. I'll buy the One-Up V2 dropper for the other AM bike later, the one I got was 31.6mm and the other bike is 30.9. If weight is not a factor, I highly recommend a mid-cable attachment dropper like this PNW for either internal or external routed bikes. Top-cable attachments like the lower-end KS ones do have more problems with the cable shifting up and down. If you have internal routing though, get the One-Up V2 for sure, it's 0.3 lbs less and hardly more expensive.

Really great dropper for a good pricd
I replaced my 150mm with a 125 because the 150mm was always to big, love this brand. They are ridged and pop up fast

Solid and well built, it feels like a premium dropper that will last
Great dropper, solid build, easy install and feel like a premium dropper. The only thing Is it is a little bit slow and takes good downforce to push it down. Sitting on it down is no problem, I think this has something to do with the sealed cartridge, and probably allows it to last for so long with out servicing. I think it is the best-built dropper for the cost, and looks awesome too! 10/10 would buy again.
