Amazon Basics Compressor Guitar Pedal, Fully Analog Circuit with True Bypass, Silver

Amazon Basics has it figured out, definitely in guitar pedals. This compressor pedal is absolutely super! It is easy to set up and use; I didn’t notice any “extra” noise coming from the pedal in either engaged or bypass mode. The sound is true and accurate, I will keep buying Amazon Basics as they become available, that’s for sure.

This is amazing for the price. I use in line before the distortion pedal. I use very low distortion and turn the compressor knobs on 6-9 and use this compressor to add more gain and its smooth.This thing really shines on clean. It can give your sound that "squish" and dialing in your pick attack can make a difference in your playing. And all 3 knobs are responsive. A must have. I've used other compressors and never had one this good. Does not have an adapter. Red indicator light. True bypass.

Its okay for the price it's adds a little hiss but fairly clean amount of gain through compression.

I am just starting to use this solid pedal and can't testify to its longevity. My SE team at church and bandmates commented on my improved fit in the mix, and the subsequent playback sounded pro, so no complaints.

Being that this pedal is not a top name brand it does the job just fine. It’s a simple basic compressor pedal. Sounds fine for what it is and what it costs. Seems pretty durable although my pedal has something loose rattling around inside of it. Hence the 3 star rating. Everything on the pedal functions properly but there’s something inside the pedal that came undone and rattles if you were to give it a shake. I don’t wanna risk opening it up and trying to find it myself because knowing my luck I’ll probably break or mess up the pedal. But like I said everything from the switch to knobs function properly as it should. We’ll see how it lasts after a few months of band practice.

Not sure if it is doing anything . No standard pots to set Attack, Ratio, Release, just Sustain pot. No matter the settings it soundes garbage

I have been playing with this unit over the course of months. It is a basic compressor, but that is exactly what I needed at the start of my guitar effects chain. You have to play with the attack and sustain knobs to find a sound that works for you, which takes some time, but all compressors have this issue.There is no knee or release setting, which can be nice to have when dialing in specific dynamics. I wouldn’t suggest that diming the compressor will give you reliable limiting either.Knowing what I bought, this unit does what it says on the tin well and will help anyone starting to build out an effects chain well. Would buy again.

Even if it's a budget pedal, it is as good as the MXR Dyna Comp sound-wise. We'll see if the switch holds up in the future but it's one hell of a bargain for my school pedalboard!

Works well, the sustain is good. There is a little hum, but just fine for me. Overall this is good value for the price.

Bueno y barato le falta un poco de efectividad para mi, pero yo quería algo compacto y funcional y por color y tamaño me gustó.
