I got this for my mini train horns and to my surprise, it actually worked! I didn't have room for the air tank, this is perfect. My husband was convinced there was no way it would work. I read the reviews and ordered one. No regrets yet!

THE Compressors came quickly..THANK YOU, Gr8 shipping from this seller. With that being said the units are not really too much louder than the brand new SHI××Y MOTO HORN COMPRESSOR...That company s@@ks all together, but we will get to that another time. They, the compressors are exactly the same size as the ones I replaced, the hose location is on the opposite side of the new ones I installed, im mentioning that because, the original ones from moto horn were mounted tightly side by side so it caused me to relocate one horn a few inches away, not a big deal. They are painted black and embossed with a company logo, its also a corrosion proof meterial I under stand, the internals are a better winding so they say, as I use them, they are working In, getting louder , I think, thats a good thing, the con s to me are few in fact close to none, it bothers me that there is no instruction on how to or not to oil the pump. Other units and many compressors like a drop of lubricant, other than that, im satisfied with the price and the purchase... hope this helps

Great replacement

I had my doubts that this could push enough air for my big rig truck horn but it does. I first tried the horns with a regular air compressor and then with this one. They sound exactly the same and don’t have to install a compressor and all the lines. So much easier.

The horn lives on

This compressor was a replacement for my original Moto horn. It actually makes my old horns sound better than the original. I would definitely recommend this compressor.

I was wanting to replace a Marinco air compressor but the Marinco quality was terrible. After buying two pumps and having neither work I decided to give this one a try. It's quite a bit cheaper than Marinco but the horns have good sound so I'm reasonably happy with this one. Hopefully it'll last for a while too. There are some downsides to this one though: It's smaller than the old one so the mounting bracket from the old one didn't work. This pump does not include any mounting hardware unfortunately. I hate to purchase some metal strapping to hang it up. Looks bad but at least is hidden in a compartment. No instructions were included either. Not difficult to figure out since there are only two DC connections which are marked, but no idea if maintenance is needed. Some pumps tell you to put a drop of oil in the spout periodically, or remove the cap and clean it out. No idea what the recommendation is for this one. Made in China. Was hoping to find one made somewhere else but didn't have any luck.
