LONDAFISH Quiet Multi-Function Built-in Fish Tank Aquarium 3-Stage Filter with Water Pump

I needed a second filter for my turtle tank. The single repto filter wasn’t doing it. Figured I try this one. It works well. Not super quiet but just a low hum. The instructions are pretty useless like most cheap Chinese products but it looks like the oxygen infusion thing only works if it’s totally submerged. The “power level” knob is on top of the pivot for the outlet pipe. It doesn’t control the motor speed it just restricts the flow. I’d recommend leaving it wide open because if you limit the outlet flow you’re just putting extra stress on the pump motor lowering it’s life expectancy.

When this product arrived I was super excited. The moment I plugged it in I should of known better and taken it out and returned it then. It didn’t work at all after plugging it in and I even let it sit in water for a few before hand. And after un plugging it and twisting on the water release port the motor started working. So I was optimistic about it. Well with in two days it quit and won’t do anything. Save yourself and DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Filter quit within 6 months

This one has been continuously working well for 1.5 years in a turtle tank. Previously, I was unsatisfied with Tetra ReptoFilter (vertical small one) and replaced it with this. The previous one often got jammed with one or two grains of sand. This one is better in: - more power; - design (propeller/screw sends water which is already cleaned and filtered; therefore, no jamming with sand); - 3-layer filters and easy assembling; Some users seems to give one or two stars, possibly due to: - the propeller/screw is electric/magnetic-driven, which requires initial momentum (rarely you may need to push the propeller/screw by hand after opening the cover) ; - to be placed vertically or horizontally, well under water (desirably 3-4 inches below water surface); - if water is not clean or too much baits/formulas are given, the filter needs to be cleaned often (once every 5-7 days in summer). if water is clean, it keeps on running without cleaning for a few weeks.

It’s not working already. What I thought that it would last longer.

My previous review was incorrect. After assembling the filter the correct way and swapping around the two doing filters, I have to say that I LOVE this filter (and so does my dojo loach, resting on the top corner to take a nap). This filter is great, I’d recommend removing the carbon and leaving the bottom of the filter blocks empty to help make things easier on the motor. The design is great, if anything big gets sucked into the filter case, it will sink to the bottom for easy removal. The rest of the water is pulled up and then down through the filter channel. 11/10, very sorry for the poor review before, I assembled it incorrectly, but realized it so I wanted to update my review!

Do not buy this pump. It only lasts a month or two and the company doesn't stand behind the product and won't warranty it out. We had actually upgraded to a regular tank for my daughter which came with a pump and didn't need this one, so I put it away for awhile. Upon needing it again to use her small tank, it doesn't work. So the thing was only in use for a little over a month.

I used this filter in a 20 gallon long fish tank with my sweet female yellow bellied slider turtle 🐢. (They can be messy) Before this filter I only had a really small filter that my tank came with, which left me cleaning her water once or twice in 1 weeks time. Since adding this filter I've only had to clean her water 💧 1 time approximately every 2 to 2 & a half weeks time, between each cleaning. This filter has been extremely quiet, a newborn baby could sleep near a tank with this filter in it. It has great suction with its suction cups, a little to good sometimes. Lol I personally love it & would recommend it! ❤
