lots of padding but I still didn't like the horn. bought the "Schwinn Comfort Bike Seat" That was better. then went to the "Bell Comfort 920 Noseless Replacement Bike Seat". it is wider than the Schwinn seat. Noseless or hornless. Much more comfortable seat for the way I ride
