Black Rectangular Bucket 5.3-Gallon Bucket with Black Snap-on Lid, 4 Pack

I like the buckets and lids, but they are light-duty and maybe half the thickness of, say, a commercial 5gal paint bucket. Of course, indoor gardens don't necessarily demand heavy-duty quality on most items, but the heavy-duty cost for these light-duty buckets feels like a gouge. Legalization is what led to the current BOOM for Indoor Gardening Supplies, yet the prices still feel like the bad old days, when shops were hiking up their prices to enjoy some of that illicit drug money. p.s. The black market is dying as folks are growing their own, more and more. The overpricing now only serves to gouge average consumers, rather than bleeding a criminal enterprise.

Yes you can get a home depot bucket for like 5 bucks with a lid and you might even be able to find some black buckets cheaper locally but if you are growing hydroponically then these are the buckets for you. You won’t be able to use the lid, but all I did is cut a hole for large net pots in the lid and I’ve not had one problem. I used home depot buckets for hydro grows and I always fought algae build up. Not anymore and for the amount of hydrogaurd I was buying and cleaning and all that crap it’s worth the extra bucks to get a few black buckets. Well made, good handles, don’t crack when you put a drill to them. 10/10 lol

Nice sturdy buckets Great for food prep & storage I’m knocking a star off for the price and the description stated the the lid had a gasket which they “do not have” The price is way to high for what they are, after all it is just a bucket with a lid not bomb shelter protection. Would buy again if the price goes down substantially.

They are very good for what I needed them for except the lids don’t snap on. They just sit on top. Nothing is secure in them.

Clean, sturdy, and just the right size. They even arrived earlier than expected. Highly recommended.

Used these for a custom DWC Under Current setup. The flat sides make them perfect for the task. Always use hole saws and spin the drill in reverse to make clean holes in these buckets. The lids lock on great also.

I have forty pounds of rice in each of the four I bought.
