I have used it several times now and have been very pleased with the improved definition of bottom structure
I received the unit one day sooner than I expected. I purchased it to replace 600w transducer that broke after 10 yrs. This unit is considerably larger so make sure you have room to mount it properly. I have used it several times now and have been very pleased with the improved definition of bottom structure, bait stacks and fish in waters from the Florida Keys to offshore waters in Gulf off the West Coast of Florida. You can tell it's back there because it leaves it's own wake. Make sure when you mount it that you position it so it doesn't interfere with the flow of water passed your prop. Furuno makes great products and their tech people were very helpfull with product selection and installation.
