Life Application Study Bible
First, I need to say that if you are looking to learn the Bible, study the Bible, I needed to stay away from KJV bc I’ve always found it way too dry and difficult to follow and understand. This version and a few others out there, but ESPECIALLY THIS ONE, COMES ALIVE!!! I ordered this Bible bc my son showed me his more recent purchase of the same Bible, which was more “fancy,” with a “leather-like,” two-toned” soft cover (sort of brown and black looking), with the two-ribbon book markers. The one I purchased is hard-covered, and when you take off the paper sleeve, the the cover has a pretty tree embossed on the cover! This will be my Fourth Bible, and I fell in love with my son’s because of the CONTENTS AND INSPIRATION I FELT the VERY MINUTE I PICKED IT UP AND BEGAN TO READ THE INTRODUCTION TO THE BOOK OF PSALMS AND THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW… just to check it out!!! I felt a love, a desire to learn, and I was drawn in immediately! As an aside, I ordered another Bible from Amazon, which is also excellent, “produced” and published by someone who is a well-known Pastor in the Reformed Christian Community. My son now has that Bible, and we are going to give his copy of the Life Application Study Bible to my brother, his Uncle, as a gift bc it’s so beautiful!!!! My brother is currently in a rehab with serious health issues but can read and understand what he is reading, Praise God!!!! Anyway, LOVE these Bibles!!! The King James have always been dry, and hard to read - these are completely beautiful and INSPIRING STUDY BIBLES!!!
