Great cheese for making decorative flowers with shaver. Looks great on charcuterie boards and tastes great

P'tit Basque cheese is outstanding! And so is Gourmet-Foods! I cannot do cows milk and was looking for a sheep milk cheese that had a good texture and mild flavor when I found P'tit Basque. I convinced a local store to carry it and purchased it for years. But then I moved to a different state and I could not get this cheese any more which was devastating. I looked on Amazon and was thrilled to see P'tit Basque available from Gourmet-Foods. I ordered this and a sheep milk Pecorino and was totally impressed by how quickly they arrived. The cheese was packaged perfectly and appropriately cool upon arrival. And I honestly felt that the price was competitive and reasonable. Thank you Gourmet-Foods for providing such a great service that truly makes a difference to people like me that have limited options but appreciate a really good cheese.

Amazing. Arrived in good shape although the ice packs had completely defrosted the cheese was still quite cold. This is a delightful cheese.

Taste is great, not too mild not too strong, I paired it with black cherry jam and cumin crackers.

Be careful!! My cheese was not wrapped in any sealed plastic; it was opened, and it came tossed in an opened bag with two melted Nordic Ice packs. It smelled so rotten. I can’t return it, and this is pricey. Very disappointing.

Only issue is that the packaging for mine was not in any plastic wrap like the image in another review. It came naked in the cooler shipping box.

My wife and I love cheese. We travel to Europe frequently and love the variety of cheese you encounter everywhere. I bought this thinking it was something else (a hard, chalky cheese from France) and was disappointed upon opening - a side note on the packaging, it came in a box 5 times the size of the cheese with a bunch of cold packing, and it was obvious that a lot of care went into delivering a safe and tasty product. The cheese itself is Unbelievable! It has a smooth, creamy, nutty flavor that is wonderful. If you like hard cheese, you will love this.

I have bought this twice for parties and people love it. The only drawback is by the time it gets to me The frozen packs are usually thawed out. I have both times went ahead and used the cheese and it was fine.
