Hi the original Sony price for this is $30. These are 3rd party sellers raising the price due to the high demand.

Is it bluetooth or ir for media playback on ps5?

It transmits to the PS5 via Bluetooth, but has an IR transmitter to control a television.

Will this remote be compatible with PS4?

No, I tried it and the ps4 will let you connect it however not let you navigate the menu's and does absolutely nothing.
