Works like it should.
Works perfect. Hook any sata hard drive on one end, usbc on the other. You are good to go.

Only works for 2.5" drives
As noted in the title and specifically written in the instructions, this only works for 2.5" drives. It will not work for 3.5" (or larger) drives.

2 bad adapters in a row
I bought one and the connection cut out, so I got a replacement, which didn't work at all. One bad one I can understand, but two in a row is a bad sign.

A Bit Power Hungry
Long Story-Short: I had a LaCie drive malfunction on me a while back and was really bummed I would have to buy another 5tb drive to Clone but it turned out it was just my Usb-C Port, and lucky enough for me the Drive inside the casing was a 2.5 HDD. This attachment was a life saver for the time being, but I did notice it is more power hungry than the normal port attachment the LaCie came with. I gave it a 4Star rating for that reason, and also the fact that the cable could be a tad bit shorter but that's just my preference. Over all I hope this thing last despite the lifetime ratings on these things.

Excellent adapter for connecting SATA based hard drives to computers for maintenance
Great cable for transferring data from SATA hard drives without requiring a case or internal wiring. I use this tool to copy data for friends before secure erasing drives before recycling. This cable works seamlessly with Windows 10 and 11.

Works like a charm
Using this with an old Samsung SSD as an external drive and it works excellently. Am able to play games from Steam directly off of the SSD this connects to. Currently not even a minor issue of any kind with the device either. No soft disconnects, no speed throttling issues, no data corruption because of an issue with this cable, nothing. This product arrived to me on 4.5.2022. Currently no issues as of 5.23.2022, Will update this review if anything happens to it in the meantime.

Der Adapter ist sehr kompatibel, sowohl auf USB- wie auf SATA-Seite, habe keinerlei Merkwürdigkeiten an und mit vielen SSDs und Geräten bemerkt. 10 GBit werden tatsächlich unterstützt, man bekommt mit einer guten SSD etwa 100 Mbyte/s mehr als an den günstigen 5 GBit-Adaptern - das darf man für den Preis aber auch erwarten und wird nicht enttäuscht. Die Verarbeitung und gefühlte Stabilität sind einwandfrei. Sehr schön - verdiente 5 Sterne.

Comido y rápido pero algo caro
Solo vale para discos portátiles (de 2,5) ya que los de escritorio (3,5) necesitan de alimentación por separado, de resto perfecto. Cómodo y rápido. A lo mejor algo caro, pero es el precio a pagar por la novedad del USB-C.
