Durable light use small hammer for home-owner/office tool boxes
Perfect small hammer for an office tool box. While the hammer is of "home user" quality rather than a tool for a carpenter, it's cost also is appropriate to a home user. This instrument gets the job done for an office hammer, where it's needed to hang pictures or mount wall decor. Its weight was easy to hold, making the instrument easy to swing. Given its use so far, I anticipate it to be sufficiently durable to assist with office-tool needs for several years.

small, lightweight hammer
I bought several of these to use around the house for hanging pictures, or other small jobs. This hammer is perfect for small, light work around the house.

Well made
I was reading the review of this hammer written by MAPG who didn't like that the light handle made it feel top heavy and returned it. Seeing as that's how hammers work, I scrolled back up to see one was available repackaged, which I ordered. Sure enough, it had the sharp glue points the reviewer complained of, which I knocked off with my thumbnail. After putting it to work well beyond the intended scope of a light hammer, I'm impressed. I'm preparing my hundred year old home for a new baby, which included demolishing some very old furniture that was definitely built to last and put up a good fight, as well as salvaging some large timbers loaded with monstrous nails you'd only see in movies these days. After plenty of hard levers to extract them and driving my prybars into some tight joints, I wouldn't have been surprised if a cheap, small hammer developed a bit of play, but there was no trace. The only visual difference is it's no longer clean. The claw also tapers to a properly thin plane to fit into narrow wedges that other prying tools could not. This is a good tool worth every dime.

Light hammer
Okay so, my husband lost my little hammer that was super light and that I loved! Here's comes Amazon to the rescue! I don't need a hammer that weighs a ton. I found this one at a great price plus it has wood handle. Bonus points! The hammer is slightly heavier than my other one, but that's okay.

Basic hammer at a good price and saved me a trip to the big box store!
I keep an assortment of basic tools in the lab of my dental office so when we needed a hammer I knew where to find a good one at a fair price. No complaints, it does what is is supposed to.

Small house job hammer
I have a big, heavier hammer but it's not sensible for using to driving in nails for picture frame hooks, tap back in the molding nails and things like that. I lost my 'household' hammer and this is a replacement. This is one of those things you didn't know you needed, until you had one. It's the exactly like the one I had for 24 years so I expect it last as long, as long as I don't lose it!

Great! Lightweight and easy to hold
Not much to say - this is a great, lightweight hammer. I bought this one in particular because I have reduced strength and grip in my hands, yet I am still able to use this hammer with ease. Great for anyone who needs a hammer but doesn't need a super heavy one.

Great little hammer
If I had a hammer, I'd hammer in the morning, I'd hammer in the evening all over this land. Pretty good hammer for small household tasks. I dont think I'd take on any major projects with it. Very well made.

IT IS A WELL MADE LITTLE HAMMER - MY BROTHER WAS PLEASED TO ADD IT TO HIS TOOL CRIB
It was a bit too heavy for me. Therefore I have passed it to my brother Who scolded me for not consulting him before I ordered it .
