Venum Kontact Shin Guards

Excellent quality and very affordable

Great padding for Sparring. Offers ample protection. Aesthetics are great. Durable for those who Spar often. Fit well & easy to put on/remove. Highly recommended for Muay Thai practioners.

I previously used Top King shin guards to train with, and they're of a far higher quality than these. However, the problem I had was that they were TOO protective - i.e. I couldn't condition my shins or move as swiftly while wearing the heavier shin guards (they also took a lot more time to put on because of the velcro straps). These Venum shin guards are budget-friendly, and let you feel a good amount of the impact when kicking, but still provide some level of protection so it's not shin on shin clashing. It's definitely helped me up my MMA and kickboxing game. It's a good thing to have in your toolbox. Great for the price. Cons: my only issue with the product design itself, is the strap at the top. It doesn't really do a good job at securing the shin guard.

Im just starting kickboxing and I suffer from severe anemia. So while I'm easing into it theyre doing a great job at keeping my bruising minimal. Theyre lightweight, easy to use, very easy to clean, and seem to be good quality and durable. But I'm not well versed in anything martial arts related, so I'd ask the experts on their opinions.

I must say I was dual-shocked. I bought these online not realizing the outside material was cloth. I wanted leather on the outside. At first I was disappointed. But I bought these because of the reviews and ratings here on Amazon so I decided to stick it out and try them. I was not disappointed. They worked great! They are my first pair of shin guards so I can't tell you how good they are compared to others. But I can tell you one thing for sure...they don't move. I practice full MMA, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai. My sparring partners would have to stop occasionally to readjust their guards. Even the "higher quality" ones. Not me though. They stayed put. They fit nice and tight. I've used them only twice, but so far so good. For me personally, being a beginner, I didn't want to spend big bucks on some of the more elite shin guards. Theses are great so far for the price. And when I decide to buy another, more expensive, pair I will have a great reference point for comparison. I would definitely recommend these to a beginner on a budget.

I save my 5 stars for the top of the line.. and venom delivered.. these shin guards are built for work.. soft . Vibrant.. not to mention the obvious they save your shins and foot from improper form lol.. learn in comfort.. their worth a couple extra bucks.. I bought my kids these also for Tae Kwon Do .. trust your family with the best . Not only a user but a parent too..

Perfect bit of kit for my son's MMA. He says they fit well, padded as expected and they look cool! match the rest of his kit even though bought separately. Recommended

Mein sohn gefällt es liegt schön am schienbein und schützt. Das anziehen muss er etwas üben (5 jahre jung) Der schriftzug vorne hat sich beim ersten sehr schnell gelöst doch uns wurde ein neues geliefert bei dem hält es.
