The Band of the Hawk may have been the most formidable band of fighters around, but when matched up against an army of abyssal monstrosities, earthly fighting skills don’t amount to a hill of beans. The Hawks’ tortured and mutilated former leader, Griffith, has used the accursed Crimson Behelit to open the gates to a shadowy realm of unspeakable horrors, the realm of the demon lords of the Godhand, who are willing to transform Griffith into a being of terrible power and majesty as long as Griffith is willing to give up his former command as sacrifices in the Invocation of Doom. But nobody takes down the Hawks without a fight, and their berserker champion, Guts, will take on anything Hell can throw at him in order to save his lover, Casca, from the sordid violations that only Hell can offer. FOR MATURE READERS. Review: Wow 👌 👏 - Again just another top notch volume in this story. To see what has happened since the last volume, it's by far one of the lowest points in the story and then seeing how everything went down with Griffith and to know the fate of so many and to see what remains, who remains, how much damage has been done, it was one of the more sad parts of the series for me, but also just the pain and suffering Casca has gone through and Guts, just the entire scope of everything that's happend leading up to this point and how much more it's magnified now. Also I hope they explain WHY Griffith did what he did and I don't mean to the band of the hawk but the whole thing with sleeping with the kings daughter and all the stuff that followed, did he give up cause Guts left? Did he just not think anything would happen or he wouldn't have been caught? Did he need to go through that to be reborn and if so, why have the bathelmet taken away, just alot id like to see explained as to why he did this 1 thing that seemed so outta character and essentially let himself be taken, I just didn't understand it. Its not anything major just for me something I was thinking about but in no way does it change how I feel about this story and how amazing it's been. Review: Best manga ever made! - If you like manga and haven’t read berserk, do yourself a favor and get volumes 1-28! Best manga ever!!

This volume maintains the brutal and absorbing pace that defines Berserk. The narrative delves into the characters' internal conflicts, while the action scenes are intense and meticulously detailed. The blend of darkness, drama, and spectacular art makes this volume a must-have for any fan of the series. A read that grips you from the first page to the last

To give the Golden Age movies one bit of credit, I like the addition to the Eclipse where when Guts charges at Griffith after severing his arm, instead of the demons immediately pinning him down, Guts is given the chance to strike at Griffith, only to be stopped by Griffith’s new reality-bending powers. Griffith remains unfazed, as if he allowed Guts to come so close just to show him how powerless he is, and even the God Hand are amused, dictating how a mere mortal like Guts can do nothing to his enemy, yet are taken aback when they see Guts’ arm slightly shift, winning against Griffith’s power ever so before he is flung into the air and promptly pinned down.

The most important volume for any berserk fan
This is hell on earth. The story is great and I guarantee, you are not ready for what happens in this volume. (Spoilers ahead) It starts where the last volume left off with the eclipse happening and Griffith turning into Femto but that’s not it…Gut’s comrades are torn, mutilated, and eaten right in front of him and all he can do is watch. Casca, Gut’s lover is brutally raped in front of him and he’s held back and can only watch. The reason this rape scene is so different than all the other ones is the author (Kentaro Miura) set us up to trust Griffith and get attached to all the other characters and then takes them all away. Thats what makes a great author! The product itself is great, no damage and nothing wrong! 10/10
