First time buying from brothread but won't be the last really good choice of colours extremely well wrapped I wish they had the 16 bundle in the hand quilting 12wt making it slightly cheaper as buying separately it is a bit more expensive , but this bundle was good value for machine and hand sewing so would recommend and I will give them a go for hand quilting just to see if they would be suitable for hand embroidery might be a bit thin for that but will try it out Ellie Mcg

The mercerised cotton threads are good. I was able to get a good match to my fabric. BUT I will hesitate to buy from this seller again unless they up their game regarding the unnecessary and utterly hideous environmental pollution they engage in. The practice of sending what is unwanted, pointless and requires the customer to find a solution for safe disposal is completely unacceptable!

So I only just got into sewing and I got a string kit with my machine that was very poor, I bought this hoping for the best and got more than what I was expecting, works great on my sewing machine and it holds the material in place,

Great value for money. Highly recommend. I have noticed that the thread will not take on natural dye colours - white excluded - no matter the mordant or tannin procedure or type. Doesnt break easily, and I am well satisfied with the choice of colours.

I was very impressed with this thread because of the beautiful variegated shades, the quality, and the price point! The shades are beautiful and were just what I was looking for in the quilt shops but could not find. This selection is perfect for any fabric in your stash and they blend wonderfully in a printed fabric or a solid when you are using it for machine quilting. I really appreciate the thread securing component of each spool because it eliminates tangled thread without using ugly nets. Wrap the thread and snap the base of the spool in place to secure it! Easy! Note that this spool size will likely not fit a standard wooden thread spool rack because of the diameter of the bottom of the spool. You would likely need to invert every other spool to fit them in this type of rack. It was not an issue for me because I store these in my sewing machine chair compartment. The thread performed as well as more expensive brands such as Aurifil, but at a much cheaper price! Note the wt of the thread is 30. I plan to buy another set in solid colors because this thread performed so well! Threading, knot resistance and winding performance were all spot on. No need to hesitate on this purchase. You will be glad you did!
