LOVED it, though it has its maddening qualities.

Dark Triad meets Parenthood
Massively well done dramatic watch. Excellent character portrayal and very powerful understanding of a dark side to parenting with someone affected by the dark triad. Really many twists and turns of plot and the show was riveting.

Excellent acting and lots of dramatic tension.

Terribly Depressing!
This was a terribly depressing show! There was nothing uplifting about it! Very depressing and sad. I love the actors in this show and was dissappointed with this series. I felt like the ending was rushed and it could have been so much better. I understand now why there was no season 2.

Interest murder mystery
Don't let the Series 1 name fool you, this is not a serialized crime story or detective novel series. It is about a murder committed amongst a small group of friends, who, by virtue of the murder now all become suspects. No spoiler here. But I guess most of you will have picked out the villain before the film is half done. Well acted. Pleasant scenery.

Strong Idea, Terrible Execution
Excellent cast. Strong Idea. The ending falls flat. No final payoff after investing 4 hours. Would I watch it again? NO

It was very well done and very satisfying to watch develop. Some have complained there was no mystery. There was, but it was why.

Holding your attention.
This series wasn't as interesting as his Tennant's previous series "Broadchurch" but series is watchable.
