NOT AS ADVERTISED: received 3 pin onboard V-Regulator instead of the shown 5-pin w/output enable
These modules come in a number of different configurations, but what is especially important to me is having a module with an onboard 5-pin 3.3V voltage regulator. One of those 5 pins is output enable and connects to the EN pin. The ad show a 5-pin regulator, and the ad has a schematic showing the 5-pin regulator. Great! Yet I actually received a different HC-05 with a common 3-pin voltage regulator, without the output enable pin. I can't use it. That output enable function is important because by adding an external connection to the onboard switch, and connecting it and the EN pin to two output pins on my micro, I can set the module into AT program mode via software alone, without touching the switch or manually powering the module off and on again. I use this in a product, inside of an enclosure, and through software have provided the end user the capability of renaming the Bluetooth to whatever they need it to be. Without the 5-pin voltage regulator and the output enable function, I can't do that the same convenient way. I returned the 2 modules I had purchased. On the other hand, Sunhokey advertised the 5-pin regulator and that's what I received - and they're getting a good product review. Finally a 3.3 or 5 volt sd card module!
This SD card module really does work with a 3.3V microcontroller. It also runs with a 5 volt much.

Works perfectly and pretty cool!
It worked perfectly for my project using a micro SD in an adapter. I made an instrument with stored sound files, and I impressed my engineering classmates.

Good module.
Works good. Onboard logic level conversion. There are two rows of headers (two pins for each connection) SPI protocol. I made use of some old full size SD cards laying around...

Really cool stuff.
Fitted my SD card perfectly and was easy to set up. No problems like breaking or instability, mingles with my arduino.

Fell apart.
I was able to get them working using SD.h or SdFat.h, using the libraries examples, but one of my 2 units broke-physically. The card will not properly seat in the metal case--it just pops right out. The second unit is fine. So close to being a decent product.
