Gtechniq W7 Tar and Glue Remover, Full Strength Solvent-Based, 16.9 fl oz

By far the best, easiest to use, tar remover I have ever used! My '25 AMG ran through some tar and this stuff worked fantastic and did not damage the finish or carbon fiber parts. Did my wife's car and again, easy spray on, wipe off. While more expensive than others, well worth the extra money.

Wow! This is the only way to describe this product. I purchased my truck used, it had previously been a farm truck and there was tar on the underside on various surfaces, including the doors. Since I bought it used this tar could have been on these surfaces for months to years. One application of this per the directions and the tar literally melted. I am amazed that this worked. I just got the bottle, so I don't know what effect if any it will have on my paint, but I guess I'll see tomorrow. I am impressed with this and can't wait to get the rest of the tar off of my truck.

Best stuff I've used to get tar off ever. My husband was forced to drive his car on the freshly tarred road for a couple of miles. His car was the worst victim of the tarred road no gravel put on I've ever seen. We took it to get detailed and they got a little tar off. It still had the tar from the car handle to the bottom of the car look. So I ordered this based off the reviews. I sprayed and incredibly the tar started melting off and dripping down the car. Wipe up and the tar is gone!!10 stars

This stuff is excellent. Best stuff I ever used. I had severe black road tire on the rocker panel and underneath the wheel wells of my car. I sprayed this on. Let’s sit for about five minutes and virtually all the tire was off the car unbelievably excellent product highly recommend.

This stuff works! I sprayed it directly onto a panel that had 3 month old tar on the rear 1/4 panel. It melts away the tar pretty easily. I sprayed on the product, let it dwell, used a pressure washer to safely rinse off any residue and repeated until it was all gone. You'll want to use this in a well ventilated area because the fumes are quite potent.

Works well on small areas. On larger areas (tar on my truck from paving), I’m having to do multiple applications but it does get it off.

Do not get it on anything plastic, so I guess you can’t put it on your fender liners, which that’s where most of your tar gets. I’m saying this out of personal experience I used this product on my front bumper of a QX80 and r even though it was plastic, it worked fine, but I got a little bit on the headlight from the rag, not even a direct application and it has the headlights very quickly

Bought this to clean the tree sap that falls on my car because of my parking space in my flat being under a tree! So easy to remove and hasn't damaged the paintwork from what I can see. Does have a VERY strong odour though so needs to be stored well in an airtight container of some sort (I keep it in my boot double bagged in ziplock bags)

The product works very well on the glue stains on my car but the smell is horrible. It’s a strong chemical that one should not be inhaling. I will recommend wearing of mask when using.
