Original equipment quality part! Dryer runs smooth and quiet. Had tried to repair about 6 months ago, but used cheap imported rollers that the rubber degraded and became bumpy and forced further repair. Thank you for a quality part at a reasonable price.

It worked. Our dryer no longer screams obscenities at us every time we use it. Using the dryer used to be the stimuli that sent me over the edge, I couldn't be anywhere near it. The neighbors a block away could hear when we were drying clothes (I wish I was kidding). Husband saw a random video saying this was the problem and a day before I was about to drop $1500 we don't have on a new set, he took that loud hunk of 20 year old metal apart, popped this bad boy on, and boom. We spent less than $60 (had to buy a weird special set of plyers) and about 4 hours, and now we can dry our clothes in peace for the first time in years. Thank you for stocking this part.

These are beasts. I bought them knowing they did not go for my dryer, but I read the dimensions and took the gamble. They fit. They are far more beefy than the factory drum wheels. They're quiet and hold up well.

Over the past few months our dryer has been getting louder and louder during cycles. It had gotten to the point that my wife thought we may need to replace it. Well, with the price of new appliances these days I always try and fix/repair things myself before biting the bullet and replacing them. That was the case here as well. The thought of disassembling a dryer can be a bit daunting, but it's actually quite easy and can be done by just about anyone with some basic tools. Our unit is a Maytag Neptune and taking it apart required a Philips screwdriver and a 5/16" nut driver. I had the face opened up in about 5 minutes. As soon as I stuck my head in there I could see that the original rollers were shot as there was black rubber shavings and residue strewn about the bottom of the dryer. You'll need a circlip tool to remove the old rollers and install the new ones (you can buy one of these on here for a few bucks). I only had to pull the tub out about 8 inches to access the rollers and did not have to remove the belt or anything else. With the old rollers removed, I installed the new roller shafts and added some bearing grease to them before sliding the rollers on and securing them with the new clips. I buttoned up the dryer again, turned it on and VOILA! She ran like brand new again, all for around $40. As others have stated, these new rollers seemed pretty well made and will hopefully last another 20 years.

good price & have had them installed for 2 months now. DO NOT put grease or any type of lubricant on the shafts. These are meant to spin dry as the metals are soft bushing type. If you lube them up, they will start to slow down/seize, tear up the rubber and squeak!

I have a really old Maytag dryer, and I replaced the rollers less than a year ago. The problem with any of these rollers is that they ride on bushings rather than bearings. As I'm getting older and I am tired of replacing rollers, I decided to modify these before installing them. I chucked them up in my lathe and turned the hubs so I could install roller bearings. Of course, I had to modify the shaft to fit the ID of the bearings, but that was no big deal. The dryer is now smooth and quiet and my children will enjoy it long after I'm gone. The roller on the right is as shipped; the one on the left is after modification.
