The best dynamic mic for singers in a solid midrange voice.
As a man with a solid range from low mid to upper midrange voice, I have always been a solid singer, but the SM58 was always unkind to me. I'm not a, three octave opera singer, and but I think I do what I can. This mic is really warm, right where I needed it to be. It also rejects feedback better than the 58 too.

A truly outstanding microphone!
This is a tremendously capable, well-designed vocal mic. As a regularly working vocalist and career audio/video technician, this mic pleases both aspects of personal my tastes... excellent vocal reproduction and solid, compact construction. Admittedly, I got a great deal on a lightly-used version of the 50th anniversary model, but I'm sure the standard AE6100 is a great buy at just about any price. Really... it's FAR superior to competitive brands in its price range. If you're considering a vocal mic in the $150-350 range, the AE6100 is a true stand-out. Buy it!

Hypercardiod definitely helps.
The off axis sound reduction is impressive. I am a drummer who sings so it is a most challenging situation. The recordings have a lot less bleed in them. Very happy.

One of the top live dynamic mics.
This mic is definitely one of my top five live performance mics that I have used over the years. It rejects feedback very well since it has a hypercardioid pattern but you need to sing right in front of it. The mic sounds more natural than most of your standard dynamic mics 58, 767, etc...

Amazing mic
It has two important advantages: - Top-notch clarity and articulation - Amazingly low feedback sensitivity Based on those, it is much easier to setup than SM58, and you get better presence of the voice in the mix. Ah, and we should not forget the very competitive price!

stunning quality, blew my old Shure beta 58 out of the water
Well built mic, when I first tried it I was blown away with how full and clear it sounded. Have had many comments since i bought it on how much better the bands vocals sound.

El mejor micro que he utilizado. Siendo un micrófono dinámico, te da la sensación como si fuese de condensador, sin batallar con el feedback o ruidos externos. Resalta las mejores frecuencias de mi voz, medios balanceados y agudos sedosos. Da mucha presencia sin tener que ecualizar.
