LOVE THIS MASK! This mask is the new version that replaces the one Basecamp sold prior to 2020. I had picked up the original style for mowing the yard (pollen allergies). It was perfect when the pandemic started. However soon after things escalated you could not longer get these masks nor the authentic basecamp filters. I had enough to make it through till this new style was available. I was so pleased with original mask that I bought this new version as soon as saw it was available. I have recommended it to many co-workers. I have to wear a mask at work when around others. I have worn it for hours on end and it remains comfortable the whole time and causes ZERO sore spots. I have even worn it to the junkyard for emergency parts pulling and it was not too hot. The adjustable bendable nose piece allows you to get a good seal. I have even perfected wearing glasses without fogging them up! :) This mask is breathable and does not trap alot of heat. Yes you still get a bit of humidity build up, but its a negligible. The vents do their job perfect. [I would recommend that if you are ever around anyone who is super high risk that you might get those cheap thin surgery masks to layer over the vents to offer them better protection, (like my 105 year old Grams)] This mask is a great fit and does not slide about like many of the other masks. It offers ear loops & an adjustable strap that goes around to the back of your head. This mask is unique in that way and allows a ton of adjustability. Once you get it fitted you do not have to fiddle with it at all! :) My only issue is that I have a small head. ( 6 & 3/4 hat size.) I wear youth hats. Any adjustable adult hat always covers my ears & the one size fits all falls off if I turn my head fast. LOL. So I made alterations to the mask to make it a wee bit smaller when I got it. Please check out my pictures to see how it did it. Before I would have the mask fitted to my face and wrap the head strap, but the Velcro would overlap so far it would not adhere. With my adjustment I get a perfect line up with the Velcro now. I am very pleased with the mask and highly recommend them. I bought one for me, my mother and 105 year old Grandmother. I looked at many of the dual port masks on Amazon; went over the reviews and the number of them. Most import. I looked at the MFG claims, 'English', timeliness of shipping, and response to an issue. All of these were excellent, either by review or personal experience. I also spent a great deal of time reviewing replacement filters. I found cheaper replacements, but none seemed to have the same quality. Of course both evaluations are purely subjective and 'marketing'. I do have >11 years in the field of Environmental, Health & Safety and another 20 years of Federal Service involving Product Assurance, Design ....So. without sophisticated laboratory equipment to evaluate a product, one 'rolls the dice, and takes a chance'. I chose this manufacturer. After using the product three times now for 2-4 hours continuously I can say that the fit and seal were very good; nose clearance to mask, very good; ease of taking a breath, while holding palms over 'exhaust' ports, excellent; ease of breathing out very good. I did find that I had to adjust the back strap 2-3 times to find the best position for ease of head movement. Even when loose the seal remained very good. One mask had a manufacturing problem when the package was opened. This is something that the Seamstress or Quality Assurance Inspection should have caught. I contacted the seller. In approximately 48 hours I had a replacement. This is excellent response and Turn-Around. To 'cut' the Mfg some slack, even in the very best "ISO-" Facilities errors do happen, though very rarely. Since I don't know what their Defect Rates are or Returns are, they get a PASS, and Excellent Customer Service. The only problem IS NOT PRODUCT related. If you place on going to any Medical Office or Facility. DO NOT WEAR it. As soon as I entered the building, while having my temperature scanned, I was instructed to remove it, because the exhaust air is not filtered. I said I was unable to get any seal with a disposal mask (blue type), any kind. The response was they cannot permit the use of any mask that has ports, even if the ports are "PM 2.5" filtered since they are not approved for medical use. So, I asked what about me breathing and exhaulting unfiltered air? They said they wete sorry. I asked if I could wear the Blue Mask under my mask???? No, I'm sorry. In the non-hospital complex, I saw all kinds of "filtering devices" being used, from "Scarf" types [filters ~57% of I/E air] to Hospital approved 'fitted masks [filters ~87% I/E air]. So far, this type mask appears to be the best mask out there as long as: THE WEARER MUST BE/IS VIRUS/BACTERIA FREE TO USE AN UNFILTERED EXHAUST MASK for the welfare and safety of others. My bottom line - Great product so far. And, I will wear an "unfiltered N95 or N99 mask when going to any medical building of hospital. (Note: In one instance even that was not good enough. I had to throw this type mask fo a "blue mask". Their reason, (A valid one), they did not know where, how many times used, or 'cleanliness' of hands when touching it. This mask and THEIR filters get a 5 & 5.

I ordered these last week and they arrived within 6 days. They are made very well and are packaged nicely. These are very comfortable to put on and wear. Very easy to breathe in - I have asthma and its been very difficult finding a mask I can breathe well in. This does a great job. I'm not sure how effective it is for preventing viruses, but this seems better than some other cloth masks I've seen people wearing. It comes with a carbon filter already in place, and several extras. It's very easy to take the valves off and put them back on - for replacement 9f carbon filters. My only complaint is that it's very large. It says it's a medium, but it seems like it is made for a very large person with a giant neck. The ear loops are very large, and when I velcro the straps around the back of my neck, I am adjusting as tightly as I can, and it is still loose. I'm average build. My husband put it on (he has a giant neck) and it fit him perfectly. 🤷‍♀️ Other than that, I think it's a great mask. Another thing I really like about this mask is that it sits below your hairline at the back of your neck. That way if you have long hair it won't get messy or force you to put it in a ponytail.

This is my 3rd!!! mask purchase. I cycle, both indoors and outdoors. I need an N95 capable mask to cycle indoors and that's assuming the cycle studio I wish to use has taken appropriate mitigation measures to keep riders safe. It has (CycleBar and Dynamic Cycle).T he first two attempts at high performance masks produced (1) the mask never was delivered (I got a quick refund from Amazon though). (2) Terrible fit (no ear loops) and bad seal at the top and bottom. Almost impossible to effectively inhale at high respirations rates. The Base Camp mask is a perfect fit on my face - seals at the top and bottom of the mask (works for my wife who has a smaller narrower face if you follow the cross the straps instructions). Very comfortable. Easy to inhale and exhale at high effort/respiration rates when cycling. Huge advantage for me. In the new normal, if you want to have some normalcy in your life while protecting yourself from infection with both droplet and aerosolized SARS-COV-2 containing particles, you'll need a properly worn mask that fits correctly with N95 level filtration. This one fits well enough to serve that purpose and I have no reason to doubt the N95 certification when using the filters.

If you have a big head this is not the mask for you. They need an XL size version. Seems like a well made product and functional, just too small if you've got a big head.

Wish I would've bought this product sooner. Was surprised to notice three masks and a large stack of fresh filter replacements. Feels great on my face to the extent I'll start using this for allergies while biking in addition to standard pandemic protections. Note: This fit great on my face (6'1" 180 lbs) but did not fit on my girlfriend's face very well (5'9" 150 lbs) because it was a little too large and the behind head strap wrapped too much leaving extra velcro exposed. If she had one size smaller, it would've fit her too.

After waiting weeks for these to arrive, I am ready to send them back after only one use. These masks are just designed wrong. The way they are made, there is nothing you can do to keep them from falling off your nose. I had to walk around the store holding my mask up with one hand to keep it from falling off. Even pinching the nose piece down so hard I could not breathe through my nose, it still fell off. The issue is the strap that wraps behind your head. This strap puts tension on the bottom of edge of the mask and pulls it downward. The ear loops are not tight enough to hold the mask up against the tension caused by the strap. If you do not use the strap, the mask just pulls away from your face leaving a huge air gap, defeating the purpose of the mask. I even tried wrapping the strap under my chin like a helmet strap and this worked to prevent the mask from falling down, but it pulled the ear loops off of my ears. My wife and son used the masks and had the same exact problems with them. They immediately refused to use them anymore because they were so much of a hassle, and my wife is a huge proponent of wearing masks. I don't know if I can do an Amazon RMA on these, but I am going to try. These things are a really bad design. It is sad because the mask part is actually comfortable.

Finally a mask that gives me a great protection but also I'm able to breathe!! I wear glasses and when I wear the n95 masks I get really fogged up to the point I have to take my glasses off. The only downside is that when I go into a doctor's office they make me go back to the n95 masks because of the exhaust feature of these masks, otherwise I love these masks and how they fit. Love that you get 3 for the price of 1 with all the extra filters and parts!!!

These are excellent for woodworking. Great value and worth the buy.

I have more than one kind, but I find this one easy to wear and more comfortable it does a good job with the dust

Arrived on time, I found this mask very comfortable to wear, easily adjusable, and the best part is that it does not fog up glasses or protective eye wear!
