Everyone and anyone who owns a Colt .45 should have this manual whether you want to work on your own gun or not. The first part of the book discusses a step by step disassembly and reassembly of the gun that anyone can understand and follow. The photos are superb. It includes info for early models all the way through the series 70, 80, Commanders and Gold Cups. The last half of the book covers every and any type of modification and general gun smithing work that you can perform on this gun. In my opinion, if you own a Colt 45 automatic, you should have this book to give yourself a complete understanding of the Colt you own. You will not be disappointed.
