Great replacement cord
Worked perfectly for my Victrola record player as a replacement power cord. Having the extra attachments was also a bonus

Excellent AC adaptor for 12V DC devices up to 2A
I had a device for my home Audio/Video switching that used an external power supply and one day it just stopped working. Luckily I was able to swap it out temporarily with another device, so I was certain it was just a dead power supply. So I ordered this as a replacement for my dead power supply. When this came, I was very happy with the results, as it worked perfectly as a replacement power supply. Plus all the extra features of this power supply makes it a perfect unit for a variety of 12V devices. First, the most significant physical feature is that this power supply is narrower than the typical wall-wart type of power supply. This is excellent as it does not prevent use of adjacent outlets in power strips. Second, is that it comes with a variety of adaptor plugs that makes it easy to use this power supply with a wide variety of devices that might have a power connector of a different style/size than the standard one. These two features alone make this a perfect replacement power supply. So much so, that I ordered another in order to have a couple spares on hand now. Note: for those not familiar with power ratings, you can use this on any device that says it requires 12V DC power. This power supply is rated for up to 2A (two amps). This means you can use it with any device that requires 2A or less. So if your device says it needs 0.5A, this power supply will work fine with it. The capacity of the power supply must be higher or equal to the current the device needs. Also, note that if your device says it needs are in milliamps (mA), then the equivalent is multiplied by 1000. Thus the capacity of this in mA would be listed as 2000mA. So a device that says is uses 850mA will work just fine.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do… no drama 😅🔌
I bought this as a replacement power supply and it has been working exactly as expected. I needed something reliable and compatible, nothing complicated. First impression: it feels solid and well made. The cable length is good, and the connector fit perfectly with the device I needed it for. I’ve been using it regularly, including in a church setup, and it has been stable with no issues. It powers the equipment consistently without overheating or cutting out. What I like most is that it does the job without any problems. Plug it in and it works — which is exactly what you want from a power adapter. The only downside is that you need to double-check compatibility before buying, especially voltage and connector size. Overall, it’s a reliable replacement adapter and worth the purchase if you need a dependable 12V 2A power supply.

Works, but not for what I bought it for — Asus RT-AX3000 Router
This thing works, and it has several plug adapters, so I will be keeping it for the utility. However, the base plug that is said to match the Asus router I bought it for is just barely too small. It fits too loosely in the router power port, that it easily falls out and the router then turns off. There’s a green adapter that does fit snugly in the router power port, but then it no longer powers the device, probably since the adapter’s plug doesn’t have the little eye shape, so it’s not truly making contact. That’s just my guess. Still good. just doesn’t actually match the adapter I need. If you have an Asus RT-AX3000 router, this might not work for you either. Note: My picture is the adapter model I needed. Note2: I was told by Asus that there are multiple variants of the power plug connector, depending on what manufacturing plant the router was made at and what version number of the model. I just thought I could get an Amazon delivered cord quicker than contacting Asus this time around.

Good replacement
Works perfectly with my electronic item I needed power for. Nice to have all the plug in options if any more of my plugs fail.

Direct replacement for the power supply on an Asus AX-RT58AU router
I really like the Asus AX-RT58U (aka AX-RT3000) router. I've used it in all sorts of applications, and it's as tough as it is versatile. BUT... it's apparently got one major flaw. And it's not even with the unit itself. This Asus router uses an external 12-volt "wall wart" type of power supply... and of the two routers of this type I've purchased, BOTH of the supplied power supplies have failed! This happened in two different installations at different locations, both on clean UPS-backed AC power. When the first one failed, I was short on time and had to get things running, so I went to the local electronics store and bought a whole new router (including a new power supply). I put the new unit in place with the new power supply, restored my (thankfully) saved configuration and things worked great. Fast forward a couple of years... and history repeats itself! Since I had long since discarded the "old" router and it's power supply, I'm back to the electronics store to buy another new router (with power supply). But this time, I put the "new" power supply on the "old" router, and the old router was fine! Apparently, the Asus-provided power supply for this router is the weak link and had failed again. So I thought to shop Amazon for a comparable power supply, and found this one. Identical to the Asus provided unit right down to specs and the type of plug provided. Ordered it and got it a day or so later, and put it in service.... been running on the Amazon power supply ever since. So now I've got a spare Asus router and power supply... but at least I've got a good source for the power supply if I need another replacement. Hopefully the Amazon supply will continue to be more reliable than the Asus-supplied unit!

Single use and dead
Bought to power an old monitor for a security system. It worked testing the system one time inside the house. A few weeks later, I set up the system again in the garage to look at camera angles. I could not power the monitor from any outlet or from an extension cord. Testing with a multimeter showed 0 V on the output of the power supply. The outlet it was going into measured fine and powered the other power supplies from the security system without issue. No idea how a simple AC – DC power supply fails after one use but this one did. Edit: I opened the power supply since it was broken anyway to see if there was an easy to replace component that that was causing the issue. On opening, I found that the plug side just has two posts that then slot into a pair of arched contacts in the other half. The posts slide into the arched contacts which I assume is to make assembling power supplies for different plug configurations easier. However, if these arches are not tight enough, the plug posts do not make contact with the contact arch. I pinched both arches closed most of the way with a pair of needle nose pliers then did another power test. Sure enough I measured 12 V when plugged back in. It’s sad that a completely functional power supply was almost put into the trash because the manufacturer saved a few cents in how the plug connection was configured. Again, I cannot recommend this product at all.
