Does this glue dry up after opening and using -even if I replace the cap quickly?

Agreed with NuMystic 100,000%.  This glue is great, and i never have a problem with it drying up as long as the cap goes back on quickly.  there is a small amount in the container, but a little goes a long way.  2 kids, lots of broken toys etc. this stuff does the trick.  Also, i keep a tube at mom mom's house so i can fix any picture frames or ceramics the kids break. 5 stars for this stuff.

PS, keep a bottle of nail polish remover and cotton balls handy in case you get some on your fingers.  At first you and the kids will laugh when your fingers are stuck together but then when it starts to cure it shrinks a bit and pulls the skin.  pretty painful..

how well does this product work on plastics?

My experience with it on plastic is great.  I generally use it for rocks and intarsia work, but the key to getting it to properly hold is to completely clean the surface so no oils from you fingers or any other surface contamination is remaining.  I use alcohol and qtips to clean the two surfaces and let it dry, then apply a small amount of glue and hold it in place.  I love this product and think you will also.

How long does it take to set? is it as fast as Krazy glue?

I am positive they have changed something about the formula of this glue. This question is 8 years old, and 8 years ago, this brand and type of glue would dry and set in about a minute. Now, I have waited over 20 minutes and a single, flattened drop of this gel super glue on a tester piece of plastic still has not set, is still wet. I used to use this glue a lot. Now I will never buy it again.

Does this glue dry clear, and if so, does it STAY clear? I need a glue that dries clear and won't yellow after a few months. Thanks.
