First time beekeeping. I used it to extract honey from 10 frames. I loaded 8 medium with no trouble. Very stable and easy to crank. Worked faster than I expected. Clean up was very easy. You do have to watch out for a small ball bearing in the "tub" and make sure it doesn't get away from you. Not a problem in operation, only if you pull it apart to clean. A little bulky, but light and easy to move. Clear covers are a big plus. I'm glad I didn't get a smaller extractor. Be very careful with sharp edges on the internal rotating frame. Well made, good price, should last a long time.

Works well, cleans easily. The mechanism is able to easily extract honey. No need for a motor. One small con is the ball bearing that the basket rotates on. It works fine but is very easy to lose if you are cleaning your equipment outside. Once lost Vevo cannot help you replace it. I ordered a bag of 10, 3/8 bearings for about $6 on Amazon. It's an inexpensive Extractor, I think you still get more than what you paid for. Yes it is shakey when you are spinning so I highly recommend stabilizing with wood. And for the love of God do not loose that 1/4 inch bearing in the bottom when you are cleaning it. I have read some people stating that bearing is never mentioned and they should correct the manual, but it is in the care section of the manual. My surprise was the customer service. i bought mine in July of last year. Last week the handle broke, I called, they answered promptly, the rep was very friendly, I told her what happened, she asked from my amazon order number, verified shipping, and name and my handle will be mailed out Monday. No fuss, no muss. LOVE IT!!!!!! I rarely right reviews, but really felt I needed to write this. Is it the best extractor in the world, no, but for someone that runs 4 hives, running 12, 8 Frame supers (96 Frames total) and extracts 3 times a year (288 frames) it is well worth the $249 we paid. And since their customer service was so outstanding I am seriously thinking about wholesaling with them.

This item is exactly what is advertised to be. I’ve been a beekeeper for a few years and used a variety of extractors. I was looking for something mechanical and simple that can get the job done. This product is exactly that. There were no missing pieces or broken parts. Set up was straightforward and I had a very successful extraction. For those considering a simple product, I would highly recommend.

This extractor arrived quickly, was easy to assemble, easy to use, and easy to clean. Vibrates at higher speeds when not bolted down. Overall, great product and well worth the money.

1) As described and easy to assemble 2) Attached to heavy pallet, but still wobbles - ALOT 3) Easy to use and clean up 4) So far processed over 60 lbs of honey this year and used four times since arrival 5) Wish it would stay steady - BUT this is the nature of these devices and working with honey, so I get a helper of two to stand on the pallet and away we go! Just sold this item after 6 years of use because we can't take it with us to the new location. Used it for 6 years and it is still working like new. Only minor issue was the connection between the top bar handle and the spindle. There is a small nylon fitting that is easy to lose and you have to really tighten the bolt in the top to keep the basket it in place.

It works. But craftsmanship is not all together. There are lots on scratches on the inside of the honey extractor that I've received. The legs are cheap metal and rust build up on it very easy. The extractor wobbles like crazy while trying to extract honey.
