what is the shoe size for “one size”? i am a size 6.5/7 so i am not sure which size to buy

I'm not sure. I bought a size larger. The foot size is a good fit, but the legs are not if you have wide calves. They are too tight. Good luck. I'm still looking for the perfect fit.

What does one size mean on womens socks

It means that there is only one size and they are supposed to stretch to fit bigger sizes. There is a joke that goes like this: "One size fits all...some better than others!" Yes, that is true. If socks are going to fit someone who is a size 10 then those who are a size 5 are going to have pretty big socks. I am a 7 and they fit me fine. I feel though they might be a bit tight for someone whose shoe size is a 10 or 11.
