Question 3

Does this system fit a range rover sport 2006 with harmon Kardon? As some systems require adaptors?

Accepted Answer

Hello
I am very happy that you are interested in ANKEWAY products.
Android car radios have screen sizes of 7 inches and 10.1 inches.
A 10.1-inch radio product size (screen border): 25.2 cm * 14.2 cm
Two 7-inch radio product dimensions (screen border): 18.0 cm * 10.5 cm
The minimum installation dimensions of the three radios are: 17.8 cm * 10.2 cm * 4.9 cm, compatible with 2DIN / 12V models.
The wiring method of the three products is the same. Before purchasing this equipment, please be sure to measure and ensure that the size of your car's center console, mounting hole size and voltage meet the above standards.
The Q&A page cannot send picture files to users. We recommend that you contact our team through Amazon customer service email to obtain detailed user manuals and wiring diagrams, etc., in order to better help you determine whether this product is compatible with your model.
This 10.1-inch Android radio can be installed without a mask. The 10.1 inch ultra-thin screen can be installed outside the dashboard. There is no need to install the whole in the concave installation position. But please make sure that this large-screen radio will not cover important locations such as the air outlet of the car air conditioner before buying.
In addition, we configure special cables for this radio device, and one end of these cables can be directly plugged into the serial interface on the back of the Android radio. The other end of the cable is decentralized, and we have marked the function and connection objects for each cable. You need to connect these scattered cables to the corresponding cables of the car.
If your car’s original ISO cable is not compatible with this Android radio, then we do not recommend that you use your car’s original ISO serial interface. We suggest that you consult the online store of automotive electronic accessories or your local auto repair service provider to see if they can provide an adapter cable compatible with your model. Connect the serial port on one end of the adapter cable to the original port of your car, and connect the cable scattered on the other end to the cable marked on the radio correctly.
Many Amazon stores (for example: "Tradefox GmbH") sell various adapter cables. It is recommended that you consult the sales staff before purchasing to purchase adapter cables compatible with your vehicle model.
Of course, you can choose to remove the original ISO serial interface of your car and connect it to the cable of this Android car radio.
We do not provide mounting masks. Different models require different mounting frames, so we return this option to the user. The user can select the appropriate mounting frame according to their model and the installation size of this radio.
Hope this reply can help you make a decision that suits you. If you have any questions, please contact our team through Amazon customer service email.
