Low lighting
I am usually up longer than my wife. In bed is when I catch up on things (emails, Facebook, ordering items, or look at missed tv programs). The light on the lamp was too bright. This lower wattage bulb works out fine for us.

So Far So Good
These LED light bulbs are perfect for our Chinese Lantern Lights. They use three bulbs. The warmth, 2700K, is perfect, as is the dimmable 40W. I expect them to last many years, but in case of failure, we have two extra.

Not compatible with dimmer
They flicker quite often on a light fixture with dimmer.

Bulbs overheat and short out
They overheat and short out. I bought these for my side table lamp, and within 20 minutes of use the bulb shorted and went out. This was the case for each bulb in the set.
