Bookkeeper [PC Download]

Excellent program for small business. As a bookkeeper with small business clients, it is easy to customize and use.

Program was a little problematic to use. Not organic or intuitive. I had a hardware crash and tried to reinstall program on new computer and kept giving me a "could not find database error". When I sent in atech support request could not get an answer. Very frustrating. They charge for immediate support. All I needed was a simple bookkeeping program. Guess i will bite the bullet and go back to QB.

I so wish I had found this years ago and would have avoided online subscription costs for a system that has fewer features and capabilities!

Not for my use. I am looking for Fund Accounting for nonprofit use. Very complicated. I gave up.

After loading the software, it worked fine but I was continually getting virus notices and also files being infected with viruses. I called and asked why that would happen and tried to get a refund. I was told that I first needed to remove the program from my PC (which I did) and then would get a refund. I am very disappointed in the software as the program was just what I was looking for but could not risk my PC with all the problems caused by the installation.

Not really user friendly. Very basic. Can’t track a lot of things if you need to know what is what.

I was pleasantly surprised by all the features and ease of use. I use Quickbooks at work so was familiar with accounting software. But needed something for a very small home business at an economical price as possible. Perfect for my needs.

This product which I only bought an hour ago is garbage. The screen doesn't enlarge and it's therefore hard to read and every time I open it that nuisance about upgrading to a newer version shows up. I am aware that it's buyer beware and I know it's not refundable so all I can say it's thank goodness it was inexpensive, of course I probably wouldn't have bought it because I just wanted to use it with my personal checking account. Also, I wanted to be able to download my checking account info into the software, not type it or manually have to import it and the product advertises it does that but it doesn't and it doesn't read up my QFX file. It states "Get Started Quickly Simplify Your Banking Banking has never been easier! Download credit card and bank transactions directly into Bookkeeper and quickly reconcile your bank statement and track transactions." Their help guide is terrible too the only thing I found about downloading had to do with Quicken.
