Work well for illumination in tight places, good brightness and decent construction. Work as advertised. See these light strips sold under variety of brand names (like HomeLife) but this version is very good. Do be careful when mounting the sticky magnetic strip. Only get one chance to get it right as the adhesive is VERY strong.

While I really liked what the products offered (they were bright, the motion detection was excellent, and they were very easy to install), one of the three in the pack did not work correctly. It came on when I installed the batteries, however, I think the motion detection on that one was flawed, because it would not turn back on, no matter what I tried. At this point, my husband had already stuck one on the wall in the hallway (What can I say? He was so excited about the new nightlights the hallway...which means we really need to get out more), so I couldn't send it back, so just a warning: MAKE SURE TO TEST ALL OF THEM IN THE PACK BEFORE STICKING THEM ANYWHERE. (Also, as a side note, these do go through batteries rather quickly if you place them in a high traffic area, so, if you are like me and have animals that wander through certain areas at night, they will trigger them on, and you will go through the four AAA batteries like water). All things considered, though, I do like the product, but bummed that only 2 worked UPDATE: Following my review, the company reached out to offer me a full refund and a to give them another chance. I have to give major props for the excellent customer service. As far the the product itself, I've moved them to lower traffic areas (where my animals cannot keep setting them off to drain the battery), and they have worked very well. I will definitely order from them again.

Update: I’ve had these for about 4 months now and I decided to remove a star for battery life. I added two photos to my review; in the photo in which the dimmest light is on the left, all 3 lights were nearly dead in my pantry and had different levels of brightness even though I put in the batteries at the same time. I then replaced the batteries in just the light on the left so you could see how much brighter it got (see the next photo). These things drain batteries way too fast. I’ve tried several brands of brand new batteries and I find myself constantly changing them, at least 4x since I installed them. They haven’t died completely but they get super dim and are essentially useless with drained batteries. I think I will go with a different brand when I buy more for my laundry area, which isn’t bright enough. These are hardly ever on so I’m not sure why they are using so much power. They only stay on for seconds when they detect motion and I only open my pantry a few times a day, I could understand the power requirement if these were in a high traffic area but they’re not. Original: My pantry is in my laundry room, the room is lit but the pantry is not. The shelves are deep and dark so I bought these and installed under the shelves behind the lip and they work great! They come on as soon as I open the pantry door and go off when I leave the room. They were easy to install in just a couple minutes. I’ve had these installed for 3 weeks with no issues. When the batteries die they will be easy to change since these have a magnetized adhesive strip. Will definitely be buying more for the rest of the shelves!

I used these in my stairs and they are working really well. They stick well, and they are bright. So far, they are laddering ands u haven’t had to change the batteries, battery life was my biggest concern when purchasing so far they’re doing well. I would recommend!

I like the concept VERY MUCH. The motion sensors work exceedingly well. The lights are very bright and provide good coverage. I haven't "installed" them in the sense of using the sticky to adhere it to a particular place. I have 2 in my kitchen and 1 in a bathroom and just have them sitting where I want them. The one thing which I feel is problematic is the lid for the battery chamber. It is VERY FLIMSY. I have no idea how long the device will last if the lid no longer keeps the batteries in the chamber. Will I have to tape the lid to the device? Get some rubber bands to hold it shut? I don't know. Would I purchase this particular model again? Probably not. I have attached a photo which shows the open lid above the battery.

I have a 2002 Ford Taurus SEL and I accidently broke the trunk light trying to replace the bulb. This old of a vehicle is difficult to find an OEM replacement without going to a lot of trouble. I opted to try these instead. Like most everything else these are made in China, a negative to me. The other negative for me is the number of batteries required for each light; it takes 4 AAA batteries for each light. Another note is that the battery covers seem very flimsy. I only needed one light but a 3-pack was the smallest quantity I could find, so I guess I'll have spares or find somewhere else to use them. The good news for these is that they seem to work well and shine brightly. I like that the 3M tape that comes with these is attached to a magnetic strip, which the light will adhere to. One can also choose to adhere the strip to the light itself and have the magnet stick to whatever metal you choose. The batteries are inserted into the light on the end. So, it's pretty easy to pull the light away from the magnet or the whole thing away from whatever metal you have stuck onto to change the batteries. It's motion sensor activated and will only come on in the darkness. The light does come on for a moment after inserting the batteries and closing the cap. The light stays on when there's continued motion and for about 10 seconds without any continued motion. I chose to mount this to the heavy plastic lining at the back of my trunk. I opted for adhering the strip to the lining and then allowing the magnet to hold the light in place. So far, and after some bumpy roads, the light has stayed in place. It does a great job of illuminating my trunk too. I had to buy 3 but the price was reasonable. Time will tell how well these last, especially the battery compartment lids. Hopefully this helps someone decide about these.

We have closets that have no lights at all and when the sun goes down it is very hard to see inside even with the room light on. 1. I loved how it was battery operated and did not need to be near an outlet. It is also easy to take off the wall to replace batteries. 2 . Super easy to install with the sticker adhesive and not heavy so will not fall off the wall. The adhesive is also very sturdy and strong. 3. The motion sensor works every time we open the door which is great and the ones we stuck further in the closet you just motion your hand in front of it real quick and it turns on. 4.The light is very bright so it does the job and stays on for a good amount of time so you do not need to keep moving in-front of it. 5. Value is great compared to other products I was looking at. We have had them for a month and have not had to change any batteries so no complaints!

I should have read the entire product description. Note the warning "WORKS IN THE DARK ONLY". I bought these for under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen. We have been using rechargeable lights, and while they work great, the rechargeable batteries have a limited lifetime and we keeping have to buying new ones and take the old ones to recycling. So I thought I would try non-rechargeable lights. Pros: 1) easy to use. That's the only "pro" Cons: 1) WORKS IN THE DARK ONLY! Now who enters a kitchen in total darkness? The sole purpose of under-cabinet lighting is to illuminate the countertops, as they are in the shadow of the light coming from ceiling-mounted fixtures. Hard to believe but you really have to turn off the kitchen lights for these to work. 2) very dim light! The photo shows one of our rechargeable lights (the bright one in the photo) alongside the VYANLIGHT 3) very poor motion sensor. I have to wave my hand under the cabinet to get the light to come on. So I guess I am supposed to stumble into a dark kitchen, and wave my hand under the cabinet to get a couple of lumens of light? And I did not run these test with the 2 lights mounted side-by-side. That was staged for the photo. NOTE!! The label on the plastic wrap (see second photo) has another warning that is not listed here on Amazon. It states “Install light so the sensor is facing in the general direction of motion”. OK – so they want me to install under-cabinet lighting by sticking their sticky pad to the wall (which will probably remove paint if I ever try to remove the sticky pad). The rechargeable lights we have sense motion when you’re about 4 feet away, in a lighted room, come on nice and bright, and they are stuck under the cabinets where the are not visible. I probably can’t name the product, but the first letter is “R” and they are described as “Stick-on Anywhere Portable Little Light”. I will be ordering more of them (here on Amazon). *** Update - I installed one of them in a walk-in closet which doubles as a medicine cabinet. This closet has small glass block windows to let in the daylight. So the LED light would only get triggered when dark and motion is sensed, which might be an average of one brief visit per day. The 4 AAA batteries were completely dead in about 2 weeks. Amazon should stop selling this product.

These lights are easy to install, just stick on and battery operated so no electrician needed. I have them in my walk in wardrobe and they work great. Switch on as soon as your nearby and off again about 30 seconds after you walk away. They don’t come on if there’s already light in the room like during the day so saves on battery. I have 3 setup in robe and it’s definitely enough light to see clothes etc without turning the room light on. Great idea for pantry, under cabinet or in cabinet lighting.
