Taylor Technologies K-1005 DPD, 9-in-1 Pool Test Kit

This was my first venture into using this type of kit to maintain the proper water balance in my above ground pool. I have been using pool strips for many years and was a little reluctant to use this type of kit as it seemed more complicated and time consuming. I had an issue that made me doubt my strips so I purchased this to determine whether or not I had a problem. It turned out to be very easy to use, with very clear instructions, precise, and included a nice pool maintenance booklet as well. It was not all that time consuming and gave me peace of mind on my readings. I became very skilled with it very quickly. This kit gave me the basic things I needed to test the chlorine, pH and Alkalinity and helped determine the proper amount of chemicals to put in the pool. I would recommend it.

Works great for the hot tub. Clear instructions, easy to follow and gave me the control to stop having to rely on spa retailers to evaluate the water for me. Major time saver

Best tester on the market covers all the bases

I am a new pool owner in these chemicals saved me. They help you understand the chemistry of your pool if you're willing to learn and give you more accurate readings than those strips. I also bought the five way test kit which is the one I use the most but the nine way also lets you look at your cya which is why I bought this one. These tests give me more accurate readings than when I bring pool samples in to the pool store itself. Remember those people need to keep their equipment clean and calibrated but this testing kit won't let you down.

I purchase this test kit each year for my pool. Very easy to use. Provides results for just about everything you need to keep your pool water clear. Good value for the cost. I replace the liquid testing chemicals each year. very accurate.

I only have 1 small complaint and it may be user error, the cya tube can easily get damaged if you do not put it back exactly how it came. It works great, all the readings seem to be correct, and there is a decent amount of testing liquids. The cya test liquid could use more but I understand why they can only give you so much. It is a great value compared to the number of test is does. It is very fast and easy to use/read.

Very disappointed - some chemicals ran out quickly and are too costly to replace. Some of the test chemicals have gone bad, very inaccurate readings. Save your money and take your water to a pool store to test.

Game changer for a pool owner. Super good instructions and does the job as well as my pool guy. The only thing is that the picture shows the instructions are on the inside lid of the box, but they are not. So, when I am using it, I have to pull out the instructions to perform each test. This is more difficult to do on a windy day. It should have been sold as the picture showed. It does the job well for me.
