Convenience Concepts Oxford Coffee Table with Shelf, Black

The product is really nice and sturdy. However, the very top of my table is chipped. I thought I could bypass this but this is the piece for the top of the table! This is very noticeable and unacceptable for the price of this table. The table is worth $50 in my opinion. I will be returning if a replacement can't be sent out. No one should have to go through the hassle of returning items like this. It's such a pain! Not sure if I would recommend this table. UPDATE: Amazon customer service was awesome. They sent another replacement at no extra cost. However, the new replacement did not have any chips, THANK GOD! but it did have a few scratches, and it scratches really bad when assembling so BE CAREFUL. I will be calling to get a partial refund at this point. Definitely not worth the money with the condition the product comes in. I am still unsure if I would recommend this product. All I can say is BEWARE. PS- It is a small compact table, if your looking for something big, do not buy.

Being the picky person that I am, it took me a fair amount of time to find a coffee table I liked. This one was close enough to what I wanted, and I'm glad I chose it. The assembly was pretty straightforward. The locking nuts (not to be confused with the cam screws) were a bit of a pain due to their tendency to roll around in their sockets, preventing the bolts from going into them. A few of them required multiple tries, but beyond that the assembly of the rest of the table was easy. Once assembled, I was surprised by the table's sturdiness. Seriously, thing is a brick. It's not particularly heavy, but there is no wobble to it *at all*. The storage space is generous, too. I picked up some of those black collapsible storage cubes for the bottom shelf and they go with it perfectly. All in all, this a rock solid table which is both practical and attractive. I'm planning to buy the end table from the same collection, in fact. I'm very happy with this one, and would definitely recommend it.

Nice product

We needed a new coffee table that fit into our black “x” themed home. This fit the bill and our budget. With 2 kids under 5 we knew this thing was going to get abuse like our last one. It gets pushed around, crawled on, crayoned, covered in food and drinks - you get the deal. Its been put through the paces so far and holding up beautifully. The only thing I took a star off for was the fact all the screws are on the outside and they expect you to put a sticker on it to cover it. That sticker would last 30 seconds in my house and it’d be in one of the kids mouth. It doesn’t look horrible without the sticker I’m just a perfectionist. Its easy to move around with 1 hand (or foot!) for vacuuming, lots of room for storage underneath (I had blankets underneath but that lasted 1 night before they were strewn across the living room) and it opens up the room nicely. Easy to clean and easy to take care of. Totally would buy again. Edit: after a few months I actually killed the coffee table not the kids. I spilled acetone on the top while trying to fix my nails. Our new puppy also chewed the “x”... sooooo that was fun... we are in the process of waiting for this to come off back order to buy it again. It is so perfect and held up perfectly until the dog and myself decided to destroy it! It is definitely a repeat buy!!

For the price, it is very worth it. I was concerned about it getting dirty and stained because it is entirely white, but whenever coffee dried on it or color from something got on the table, I was able to clean it (with a wet paper towel or cloth, or disinfectant wipe). The wood is better quality that I expected for the price. It is sturdy, yet light enough to carry. The finish is very smooth. I like how the table is simple and easy to match any decor, and how the white color brightens up my dark living room. Assembly was not bad - I suggest assembling with two people to get the alignment right. You do need to use a screw driver or power drill, which does not come with the package. I used a power drill, which I highly recommend because it made the assembly so much quicker. One con would be the white stickers that are provided for covering up the screws. I wish they provided plastic covers for that. Even if you don't use the white stickers, the table looks good.

Okay, so I haven’t put this together yet and probably won’t jntil I move into my new place in a month. BUT, from my observations thus far: if you are looking for a high quality item to cherish forever and ever, move on. This isn’t meant to be leaned on by toddlers, moved from house to house for 10 years, and so on. I needed quick and cheap (but still stylish) furtniture for my apartment I’ll only be living in for a year, then I’ll probably trash some of it. This is so worth it! My boyfriend said it will be relative easy to assemble. Mine didn’t come broken or dented. When we went to Ikea (after the product was delivered and I looked at it), we didn’t find anything similar for cheaper. Most coffee tables were $100+. There was somewhat of a similar one but not as nice and way smaller & shorter for $29. I’m very happy with this. I’m getting a piece of glass cut for it so there won’t be water marks for drinks. So for under $100 I have a nice table for my living room. I also purchased the $115 entertainment stand and am pleased with that purchase as well! Great price for something of decent quality!

I ordered this ‘like new’ from the Amazon warehouse, and it came pretty damaged. One of the support rails couldn’t be attached because of how badly it was broken. I’ll contact the company and see if they will send a new rail. Overall, the table seems decent. Edges are a little rough, but not sure if that’s part of the “like new” damage. Fairly easy to assemble, but took two people at key moments to hold it all together. Will do the job as a basic coffee table.

Item was shipped quickly and I had it within a couple days of ordering. Instructions were very easy to follow and it was easy to put together. End product is beautiful and sturdy; toddler approved. I was missing some hardware originally, but I reached out to the company to ask for replacement hardware. They responded the same day, were awesome to deal with, and I got the hardware I needed within a week. I definitely recommend buying their products! I also purchased a end table from them as well and it is also beautiful and easy to assemble.

Terrible product. Very strong chemical smell that has left my condo now smelling like it and it won't go away! The top of the table came scratched and I thought it was dirty so I used a towel to clean it and it scratched/compromised the table even more with a soft cloth and water! Anything that touches the surface seems to damage. Terrible Finish! Will be asking for a refund.

This table was so easy to put together. The instructions were easy to understand and straight forward. It’s a beautiful, very sturdy table, definitely worth the money. Extremely happy with it.
