Really good.
I grew up with a sour cherry tree in our yard and we used to climb it and sit in the tree to eat cherries every summer. Now I live in South Carolina and they don’t grow down here so whenever I find them retail, I buy them. Though not exactly the same, they did bring back my taste memories of my childhood. They were really good.

The best quality of sour cherry compot
I purchased several varieties of pitted sour cherries, including Montmorency and Morello, and found these to be the best in quality. The texture is firm yet tender, aligning perfectly with expectations. The sugar content is balanced, providing just enough sweetness without overpowering the cherry’s natural tartness. I typically use these cherries in fruit salads, where they add a bright, tart flavor that complements other fruits without being too intense. Their vibrant red color also enhances the dish's visual appeal. I highly recommend them for a refreshing summer fruit salad, especially on hot days. Considering their quality and versatility, they offer good value for the price paid.

A super alcoholic beverage
Recently had a sour cherry bourbon smash at our clubhouse and it was great! Checked out the recipe and needed only the sour cherries. Looked for them at various liquor stores AND AMAZON where I found these beauties (Marco Polo). Plentiful, just the right tartness, and reasonable in price. I have since enjoyed a few of those aforementioned wonderful concoctions. Recommend heartily.sour

Disappointing!
I recently purchased the Marco Polo Pitted sour cherries, and unfortunately, they did not meet my expectations. I was looking forward to a distinctly sour flavor, but these cherries were surprisingly mild and lacked the tartness I associate with sour cherries. The texture was also disappointing, they were not firm and had a soft, almost mushy consistency. Instead of a satisfying bite, they seemed to break down too quickly and melted in an unpleasant way in my mouth.Overall, the flavor was quite underwhelming, and the texture made the experience even less enjoyable. I would not purchase this product again.

The jar arrived w a little cherry juice on the outside. It didn't affect the productJust ate some today with granola and yogurt. Very good. I will buy again

Better flavor, large volume
Much better flavor than other brands of sour cherries. I use only one jar of Marco Polo Cherries for a large pie; whereas, I need 2 cans of cherries for a pie.

Great for those moments when you want something that feels like a dessert but with few carbs.
These are part of a keto diet for me. I eat these without the juice for dessert. I am diabetic type 2 and I can eat these (around 10 per sitting) without causing a glucose spike. Sometimes one will have a pit. They taste good anyway. They taste great mixed with 5% fat plain yoghurt for breakfast. Check the carbs in the yoghurt. The brand I use has 5G of carbs in two tablespoons.

Very fine quality sour cherries.
I usually purchase a different brand, which has disappeared. I tried these and they are every bit as good for one of my mother's favorite recipes. 5☆☆☆☆☆s!
