This must-have, deluxe collectible edition of the first book in the #1 bestselling series has new art, a slipcase, and bonus content including a scene from Julian’s point of view, the original ending, Stephanie Garber’s writing journals, and a sneak peek at the next book set in the world of Caraval Scarlett has never left the tiny island where she and her beloved sister, Tella, live with their powerful, and cruel, father. Now Scarlett’s father has arranged a marriage for her, and Scarlett thinks her dreams of seeing Caraval, the far-away, once-a-year performance where the audience participates in the show, are over. But this year, Scarlett’s long-dreamt of invitation finally arrives. With the help of a mysterious sailor, Tella whisks Scarlett away to the show. Only, as soon as they arrive, Tella is kidnapped by Caraval’s mastermind organizer, Legend. It turns out that this season’s Caraval revolves around Tella, and whoever finds her first is the winner. Scarlett has been told that everything that happens during Caraval is only an elaborate performance. But she nevertheless becomes enmeshed in a game of love, heartbreak, and magic with the other players in the game. And whether Caraval is real or not, she must find Tella before the five nights of the game are over, a dangerous domino effect of consequences is set off, and her sister disappears forever. Welcome, welcome to Caraval . . . beware of getting swept too far away.

An amazing book for any Fantasy lover
This book was recommended to me by a friend who has the same likes in books, and I was not disappointed. I can usually guess story lines in books, but this one kept me on my toes the entire time. I had it in paperback and when I found this collector's edition? Oh man I snapped it up immediately. This reminded me of The Hunger Games meets Lord of the Rings in a way, and I loved it.

Beautiful copy!
I really LOVE this book. I read it as an e-book and wanted a physical copy. I found a used copy at Half Price Books, but when I saw this version on Amazon, I knew I had to order it! It is a very special, beautiful copy of the book, and it looks great in my bookshelf! This was a fun and exciting read, but I enjoyed it even more after reading the other two books, Legendary and Finale.

Very lovely, special edition
I really love this book. It looks amazing. I already have this book in Spanish, but wanted to copy in English, and had seen this on TikTok before. I’m glad I got it, but it’s not quite as fancy inside as I thought it would be. There is bonus material at the end, which makes me happy. I’ve been hoping there would be a special edition like this of Legendary, but apparently this is by itself.

A Beautiful Collector's Edition!
This book is just stunning in person! The foil detailing on the slip cover is amazing and so detailed. The entire book is bound in a textured feeling cloth which gives a ton of definition to the overall book. A must have for any fans of the series! Highly recommended to add to your book collection!
