Extremely easy to install and use. It pairs with Bosch mobile immediately and all the tool data could be viewed from the app.

It worked great, it also included the battery, disappointed bosch didn't include these with the charger.

Just the fact that you can adjust your speed per setting and also choose a slow start is massive. I use this with my "Freak" and cannot recommend it enough. It's a game changer.

I bought 4 of these and can tell you that for some tools it is really cool and gives you additional, practical control over the tools (1860 impact driver for example) whereas others (angle grinder) adds little to no functionality and unclear why you would use it on that tool. Some. Other tools from the pro line (multi tool, reciprocating saw, jigsaw for example don't even have this option available) I wish Bosch actually had a strategy here. Milwaukee's similar option will even help you locate the tool and is more standardized across the range

Easy to install and paired quickly with the Bosch app. Useful for checking tool settings, battery information, and customizing certain functions depending on the compatible tool. Connection has been stable so far and it is nice being able to adjust settings without extra hardware. Definitely more of a convenience feature than a necessity, but a nice addition if you already use Bosch 18V connected tools regularly.
