Cold hand
I work in a very cold office and this keeps my hand warm

LIFE CHANGER!
Life changer if your hands get cold working with a mouse. My office is in the basement and, as a photographer, my hands got cold if I worked with a mouse for a long time. This has truly made all the difference in the world! It has a low, med, high feature, plus a timer. Low is good enough for me! It works so well that I bought my sister one, who's in finance and spends quite a bit of time wirking on the computer too. Her daughter told me she shows EVERYONE on her Zoom meetings and anyone who comes to her house, her heated mouse pad. 😆

No space heater allowed in the office? No problem!
Hey, I get it -- space heaters can be dangerous, they suck power, and in some offices, they work against the HVAC. If you don't have a medical condition requiring a warmer workspace, ADA accommodation may not be in the cards. Enter this little gem! After two decades of sneaking a ceramic space heater into offices across the US and abroad, my poor frozen fingers have found relief. Unspecified in the instructions is another setting -- off -- which preserves only my hand's body heat. This is fine on days when I'm more active. But on editing or grading days, when I'm stuck at the desk four hours at a stretch, the low setting keeps my right hand warm between bouts of keyboarding and bouts of scrolling and clicking. (My left hand, on those days, goes from the chilly keyboard to the warm forehead in facepalms decrying students' lack of comprehension of grammar and syntax.) I won't say that our military building custodian is completely sold on the product; that community is notorious for demanding proof something is allowed rather than permitting what's not expressly forbidden (yes, I have a glass cutting board under my office Keurig ... and my Cuisinart coffee mill ... and my three different sizes of French presses...). Something I've had to get used to: the motion of slipping my hand into the warm mouse cave, instead of dropping my hand down on top of the mouse. But even that training is made more pleasant by the warm and furry exterior. Sorta like petting a snoozing cat by accident -- maybe this heated mouse pad can be my emotional support animal, the next time the boss sends a hot tasker my way....

It works well with a few minor issues
Yes, it actually will keep your hand warm (the top of it anyway) There should be a piece of metal or plastic insert that keeps the pouch arch open. It gets in the way of using the mouse wheel or when you're sliding your hand in to use the mouse. Would be good if there was a little bit of heat from the bottom too. Gets hot quick which is great. I use it with a high output USB charger so the heater can draw as much as it wants. Id rather not use a USB port on the PC so I can avoid over draw on the port, so I recommend using a USB charger that can put out 5v 3a and it'll work best.

I love this! I think it's worth the money.
I really like using the heated mouse pad. Before purchasing, I read someone's review that suggested an elastic opening to enclose the heat. I'd like to also recommend this suggestion. (at least to see if it works and is practical!) I didn't consider this when buying the product, but some might want to consider that a really cheap mouse (or idk wraps/stickers?) may not be able to handle the heat, but I think 99% of mice would be fine. I'm shocked someone reported burning their hand because mine has not gotten that hot. Couple other random notes: - The new-pair-of-shoes smell goes away after a short while of use. - If you don't have the heated mouse pad after a while of use, you will find yourself scooping your hand as if you still have to in order to get under the fabric. This isn't good or bad. It's funny. - You and your spouse might fight over who gets it for the day. - My wife hates everything scratchy. She never complained so I guess it's soft enough? - My fingers still battle feeling a bit cold, but this is maybe the best possible solution. - I can always tell when the product is turned off, which I think is clear evidence that it really helps!

DONT BUY IT!!!!!
It's a little warm but VERY awkward - you can only feel the heat if you press the back of your hand UP against the top - it really only heats a very narrow part of your hand and it's very uncomfortable --- sides and top collapse - they don't stay up, wrist pad is VERY hard and uncomfortable - I cut it off!!! - will only use when desperate!

Effective - Like the controls too
So I've used this for about two weeks now, and am certainly turning it on every day! I like that it has 3 settings for the timer (off) and 3 setting for temperature. I appreciate that I can safely walk away from the desk and knowing it will shut off eventually if I don't return. The heat settings are similar to that of our Ford seat heaters .. 1 is OK.. 2 is Warm .. 3 .. not used so much (more than I/we care for) unless super cold to start. I use a cordless Logitech mouse and have not had any issues with interruptions. It is USB powered and in lieu of plugging into my computer .. I use an older iPhone wall charger so that it does not 'go to sleep' if/when my laptop does as I step away. Works perfect! Oh, I am young enough/old enough to be developing arthritis on cold days for my working mouse fingers .. and this has been a super relief in my daily working!

Great for cold hands in the winter
heats up really well and love that it has a timer option. light enough to easily move your hand around in the little dome but enough weight to have the upper heating pad hit my hand. Will be great for my office through the winter.

Warm Hand Working
This thing is a WFH life saver. I was getting a super cold hand when using my mouse in winter. I figured this would help but now I never want to use my mouse without it. It's not too big and it's really simply designed, which I like. It could be fluffier but couldn't everything? There's a timer, which I've never used, and 3 heat settings which I tend to flip between medium and high. You control it via a dial on the cable. I have it plugged in via USB directly to my laptop and the cable hidden around the back of my desk with the dial within reach. Highly recommend. Sometimes I take it to the office with me too. Makes everyone jealous.

Money Well Spent
I LOVE IT! Last winter I suffered chillblains on my fingers from working in a cold office with my hand on the mouse constantly. The heated mousepad arrived just in time and has kept my hand cosy and warm during this chilly winter in the Snowy Mountains NSW

My hand is not cold anymore
Working from a basement and use the mouse constantly. The hand becomes very cold. I tried to work around with a bottle of hot water, but you cannot hold the bottle and use the mouse at the same time. This thing solved my problem, and my hand is warm, and I can work long day without any side effects now. The unit is consuming up to 1A of current. I plugged it into a separate USB charger to avoid possible overload of the PC USB port. It also automatically shutting off after few hours. Never needed to use high heat setting as the default one is perfectly comfortable. As somebody mentioned that the top is sagging but I am using ergonomic vertical mouse that holds the top in proper position. I am very happy with the heated mouse pad. Fingers crossed it would last for a long time.

I would highly recommend this product.
This product is exactly what I wanted and needed. My hand tucks into the lovely cave of warmness. It can be adjusted to three different settings and has a limit to the number of hours it stays on if you forget to turn it off. The cable is long enough to go across the desk to fit into the USB port. There is also a super cushion to support your wrist. The designers definitely thought of everything!! It is perfect for cold hands whilst allowing the mouse to work perfectly.
