Festool 205097 Centrotec Quick Change Bit Holder BHS 60 CE

Much more expensive than other brands so hoping it will provide long lasting satisfaction. Seems to be well made and easy to use with solid performance so far.

Great tool, works well and not much to say Esther that works well and a good addition to my tool kit.

Espectacular

I absolutely love this thing. Sure, Centrotec is wonderful, but this allows you to use the hundreds of hex-base bits you very likely already own. I use Centrotec where I need the additional precision, otherwise I use this adapter and use my existing hex bits. What makes it worthwhile is that the bits lock in, unlike the magnet-only BH 60 that comes with most Festool drills. If you own a Festool drill/driver, you need this adapter.

Great upgrade over the included magnetic bit holder, it's even about 5mm more compact! Very convenient quick insert and can be toggled into bit removing mode so you can use one hand and don't have to do some finger gymnastics. Works well with all my plain 1/4" shaft bits and the ones with the ball detent section.

It works great. Of course it is Festool! About 90% of my bits are centrotec but sometimes you just gotta use a standard bit shank and this does the trick.

If you have a Centrotec drill, you need one of these. Festool should include one of these with every drill. Those silly magnet ones are so frustrating to use because your bit keeps coming out.

Don’t hold the regular 1/4 bits very tightly lots of wobble. I believe it’s in the 1/4” part of holder. The centrotec side seems ok but if wanting to use regular bits use the keyless chuck .

This is a really well made item, also quite expensive. Does it work with non Festool bits, the answer is some. It worked with the hex drill bit and the Erbauer screwdriver bits, it held the hinge drill bit quite firmly but I could still pull this out. On the whole I was very pleased as it did what I needed it to do.

Lange habe ich auf diesen Bithalter gewartet, endlich hat sich Festool mit Wera zusammengetan und diesen Bithalter herausgebracht! Der normale Festool-Bithalter verliert ständig, vor allem in Kombination mit den Wera Dia-Bits die Bits, mit diesen Bithalter ist das endlich nicht mehr der Fall! Bits halten super Fest und die Magnetkraft ist vergleichbar mit dem Standard-Festool Bithalter. Nur der Preis für den Bithalter ist schon ganz schön stolz, wenn man bereits alle Bits hat braucht man das Bitset mit dem Halter nicht mehr welches fast genau so viel Kostet wie der Bithalter alleine. Letztendlich aber egal da der Bithalter den Ärger mit den verlorenen Bits behebt und somit jeden Cent wert ist. Verarbeitung ist Wera-typisch super, Rundlauf für‘s Schrauben auch völlig in Ordnung. Würde den Bithalter jedem Tischler empfehlen, der Serienverschraubungen von Möbelteilen machen muss und nicht ständig den Bit aus der Schraube fischen will!

Qualität wie man sie von Feststool erwartet

I have the Festool BHS 65 CE bit holder, which I never liked for being a) too long, b) not really one-handed in operation and c) broke after not a lot of light use: it would not lock the bit in place. This meant that the bit was retained in the pozi / hex / torx screw after screwing in. Very irritating. This new bit holder solves all of those problems, as well as looking great on my CXS, itself instantly a much better drill just because of this holder. I was going to get another, but it seems to have gone up 30% in price from £26.89 to £34.90 in the space of a few days.
