It's a great little hair brush. I haven't had a nylon bristle brush for about 20 years. When the plastic bristle brushes first came on the scene I thought they were nice, but ultimately, they simply don't do the job as well as closely placed nylon bristles, if you have long straight or wavy hair (I don't think they're the right tool for curly hair, unless you want a total frizzy hairdo). I wish that it were a bit larger, like the Fuller brush I used for several decades, but does the job just fine. If you remember the days when your mom or grandma told you to 'brush your hair 100 times', this is the kind of brush you want to use. This sort of brush is WAY too hard to find and to afford, but do your beautiful, long hair a favor and get one!ETA: It's 2025 - my first one was lost while traveling; the second one was in my purse when my exuberant daughter flopped down on it and snapped it in half. This is my third, may it be the charmed one. It's still the same great brush. If you have thick hair, I especially recommend it. Still 5 stars!

Oh my gosh I have been using these brushes since I was a child (so 40+ years) my mom would buy em from the beauty supply store which closed a few years ago and nobody else in town carries em. My granddaughter accidentally broke my brush that I've had for 10+ years so I tried others and nothing compared to this one so needless to say how shocked & excited to see it on Amazon! I bought all my family members this brush for Christmas...it's that good and pretty colors too

I purchased this brush last year on another website. This brush is the favorite out of all of our brushes. Sometimes it poses a problem that my husband and I both prefer to use this brush. It has been a issue enough times that I went looking for this brush on the www so I could purchase another one. Of course I found it right away on Amazon at a great price! I gave it to my husband as a gift and he was thrilled. This brush was immediately placed in his diddy bag. No more having to share the favorite hair brush! The reason we both liked this brush so much is because of it's light touch that is still strong enough to brush through my thick hair but is light enough not to scratch my husband's scalp through his thinning hair. The size and weight of the brush is good in my hand and my husband's hand. Made well so it should last for many years to come.

I have fine hair and a lot of it and this brush smooths my hair perfectly. It’s not heavy at all and is the perfect size for travel. Love it
