Mixing Bottle

Great mixing bottle for mixed fuel. Does not leak. Easy to see markings for precise ratio. Wide opening makes it easy to add fuel and oil without getting it all over the bottle. The smaller cap is a little hard to get on and off, but it does not leak.

Crazy price but awesome product. Very easy to mix, pour and read. I like to buy a quality product once rather than suffer and buy low quality products 5 times.

What a bloody clever little tool for those of us who frequent the forest. This little bottle does exactly what it promises to do, making it very easy with visual delineations on the bottle, as well as inside the filler cap, which also functions as a mix measuring cup. The only thing I'd say that could make it any easier to use is if it was sized to perfectly use up a single bottle of Stihl's two stroke oil with each fill...that would make it just absolutely idiot-proof. That said, if you can't figure out how to make your fueling much easier with this tool...well, you probably shouldn't be operating a chainsaw. My only criticism is that it can leak a tiny bit where the filler lid screws down, but nothing significant. Great product, happy I picked it up.

This calibrated mixing bottle is ideal for mixing small quantities of chainsaw fuel so the gasoline doesn't get stale before being used. Markings on the cap and bottle make measuring easy. Unfortunately, bottle markings can be difficult to read. I'll probably highlight them with a "permanent" marker and remark as needed if the ink wears off. Disposing of old fuel is a nuisance and putting old fuel in a 2-cycle engine is a huge gamble. I paid a couple of bucks extra for the Stihl branded item, but it was still a pretty good value.

I haven't used this yet so my review is simply based on my observations of apparent quality and design. I'll update it when I do use it if I find something noteworthy. I don't use my chainsaw frequently so I bought a different brand mixing bottle on Amazon (this one never showed in any searches). The bottle had markings for fuel and then oil above that so it was only useful for mixing a full one liter bottle. I filled the bottle gas to the fuel mark. Then I started filling the bottle with two stroke oil. Before I realized it the oil bottle was empty. I'd poured enough oil for a gallon into a liter which is just over a 4th of a gallon, so 4 times as much as needed. My Stihl chainsaw can be a bit finnicky. I can't imagine it liking that fuel/oil mixture. Recently I found this Stihl brand bottle and decided to give it a shot. The shape is great. It seems like it'll be much easier to handle and pour. The plastic is thick so it feels solid, no squish here. There are markings up to a liter so you can mix smaller batches but it's really made for a full liter or half liter. Where it really shines is the cap is the measuring cap for the oil. Simply pour in the recommended amount of oil for the amount of fuel in the bottle, put the cap back on the bottle, and shake like your making margaritas. The build quality and design have impressed me. I hope real world experience doesn't disappoint.

Handy to have instead of keeping a large gas can for mix this can hold you over. Good for homeowners who don’t want to keep a dedicated mix can around. Had a couple years now and is holding up another quality Stihl product.

Ich hab mir die Flasche gekauft, um immer eine Ölreserve unter der Sitzbank zu haben, wenn ich mit meinem Roller grössere Touren mache. Und auch sonst, beim Nachfüllen erweist sie sich als äusserst praktisch. Der Verschluss, ist 100 % dicht und der Winkel des Halses, erlaubt ein Nachfüllen, ohne Schmuddel. Ich kann sie nur empfehlen. Prima!

Excellent mixing bottle for my chainsaw, mixes easily and holds enough for a short amount of work or I can fill the bottle if I'm going to be doing lots of cutting. The seal does let a bit of a smell out if stored in a confined space such as a car but I didn't lay it down to see if it leaked. The mixing bottles that I've used before all leaked from the cheap seams but this one is very durable so far!
