Barry M Exfoliating Lip Scrub

Its a simple formula of sugar, flavouring and moisturising agent.. But Barry M, have got it soooo right!! Purchased during lockdown, as didnt want to risk going to Boots to buy this. Great value for money, a small amount goes a long way. You simple scrub the product on the lips and about 30 secs -1min later, you have soft, moisterised lips. They product tastes nice (not that you're meant to eat it!!) The only downside, is that this is a bit messy, so best to do the scrub over sink, so the excess can fall in to the sink. I use it about twice a week and thats all thats really needed. Its gentle enough to be used everyday if wanted. Great staple item for your beauty regime. Would recommend this.

My lips get very dry in the cold weather and I decided to try this product to see if it would help. It was very effective at clearing the flakiness from my lips and afterwards it left my skin feeling very soft and smooth. It has a lovely flavor and a pleasant scent to it and the chunks are small enough that they exfoliate my skin without irritating it. Once you have rubbed it over your skin, the chunks start to dissolve quickly into a slightly oily substance which is easy to wash off. I have found that I only need to use a small amount which is enough to fully cover my lips but the pot is very small so I don't think it will last very long and this would be my only criticism.

Does everything it says perfect

Overall happy with the quality of the product itself, gently exfoliates the lips (and leaves a very pleasant taste even if you were to get some in your mouth) Accompanied with an overnight lip treatment will leave your lips is great condition. ONLY issue honestly is the size of the product, for the cost it's far too small.

Lovely, smell and taste ! And takes dry skin off

I originally was looking for the revolution pineapple lip scrub but couldn’t find it as it’s been discontinued so I bought this one because of the reviews. The one I received had a black lid The first day I used it i wasn’t sure. After I washed off the the scrub with water my lips felt softer and all the dry skin was gone. It leaves a thin film like feel on your lips for about 5 mins then your lips feel dry. I always put on a lil bit of carmex and then my plumping lip gloss on. I love this product. I would advise to do 3-4 times a week Don’t be like me and leave it open because it dried out and now I have to buy another one 🫠 Going to try a different flavour now. Sorry no pictures to show, just know my lips ain’t cracked no mo!

During the summer months I tend to get very flaky lips & if not tended to properly, I end up getting coldsores. When I saw this lip scrub I thought - nothing to loose here, give it a go! So, my review is that this product is quite good to scrub the lips & leaves them soft, flaky bits gone & the smell is lovely. The only downside is, the tub is quite small & little difficult to get the product out. I would recommend!
