Men's Cabor EPX Waterproof Composite Toe Work Boots

Had these boots for about a month now. This is my first pair of Wolverines. They seem to run a little on the large size which is better than small. I just wear socks that are a bit thicker and problem solved. I really like the looks of these boots. I work in a lab and these boots fit right in with all the other workers wearing leather shoes. I also wore them on my land, I live in the Rocky Mountains, and was cutting trees and brush in the snow and feet stayed warm and dry. The only thing I would like to see improved is the laces. They are pretty thin and could be beefed up. I fix that with new laces myself. Overall and great pair of boots. So a quick update. Boots are still extremely comfortable. I do have to replace my laces about once a month. They do chew up laces. The metal eyelets wear laces quickly. May not be a big deal but be aware.

Have had these for a year now. Pros: Looks great complements about them all the time when new. Sole being fused there has been zero pull away which is amazing after a year. Epx feels great. I work 8 to 18 hours a day standing on cement floor and these boots are amazingly comfortable the whole time. Truly keeps water and dirt out. Reasonably light weight for a reinforced toe boot. Great non slip soles. Cons- The leather on the toe got cut and scratched really easily in only a couple weeks detracting from the appearance, the lace hooks at the top would have been better if they were riveted on eyelets like the rest of the boot or regular eyelets. The hooks catch on pants and other things at work and are a hazard at times. Note I took these hiking one time to see how these would do. I know they are work boots but was an experiment. Waterproof - yes Dirt - kept dirt and rocks out Fatigue - comfortable but noticeably too heavy for hiking in the end Support - great felt excellent around ankles Traction - great never slipped on any terrain. Even with the cons in normal work situations I would say 5 stars and I hope to see this line continue with small improvements. I would but again.

Great boot well made, my size 13 fits perfect . Super comfortable , but will take a few days to break in . Only knocks I would give it are small, shoe laces are garbage , I had to pick up some Kevlar laces for them. No pull loop on back . Other than that very happy. Prior to this shoe I ordered 2 other pairs by other makers and had to send them both back for differnt reasons . Have been a Keen guy for last 10 years was looking for something more durable but just as comfortable. Think these are the ones.

In my opinion the Cabor by Wolverine is the best boot in its class! This is my second pair of Cabor’s! In every style of boot or shoe I wear either a 13 wide or 14 m because the foot bed is too narrow. Both pairs I own are 13 M that fit like a glove out of the box. The boot breaks in easy and my feet and back love them. (If you’ve got a thick foot try them on before you buy.) I’m a landscaper so my boots stay wet either from the morning dew or my sweat! The soles survive all terrains and the toe of the boot has kicked the backside of a shovel tens of thousands of times! My last pair made it through 3 years and I still wear them in bad weather to save the wear on my new ones! The only draw back on the first pair were the laces! But they’ve changed those and I’m hoping they’ll last more than a year this time!

Bought a Falcon shoe and a Cabor boot. The Cabor boot is slimmer in the toe than the Falcon shoe design so naturally one of my feet with the Cabor pair fit fine and the other was a little tight in the toe width. But I wore them all day the first day to see what the "give" was in the leather and now both feel fine. The arch support is quite prominent and takes a little getting used to in terms of foot tilt but body adjustment occurred in a very short while. Laces up fairly quickly and the smooth toe and lower section with no overlaying seams down the sides makes for a longer lasting boot design, IMO. Previous Wolverine designs I have had have lost stitching in those very seams due to foot flexing and became relatively useless after a year and a half or so. Still, they were very comfortable so I stuck with the Brand. The Falcon shoe does have the semi oxford side seam so I will not be doing much in the way of hard work with them. Just like the way they look and feel for an everyday shoe.

I buy these boots for my husband because these are the only ones he will wear. These Wolverine boots last him about 3 years, and he wears them everyday. He has told me they never hurt his feet when he gets them new and they last longer then any work boot he has bought, so to me that says everything. It does need new shoe laces in the future, but that just shows you how well made the boot is so it's worth the price.

My husband had this exact boot we purchased from a store. They were a great work boot and lasted a long time. When it came for the time for him to get another pair he decided that he wanted to get the same boot. We saw they were available through Amazon, so we were pleased that we could purchase them through Amazon. He has now had this pair of boots less than a year. Three months ago the sole started to split from the shoe. He used the heavy duty glue to fix and that held on for a bit and they are splitting again. Truly, we are wondering if these boots sold through Amazon are seconds. VERY frustrating and we will not be ordering products like this through Amazon again. VERY POOR QUALITY! Boots like this should last much longer. Very disappointed!
