I don't think it is OEM, but it looks the same as the original that it replaced in my 2006 Nissan Xterra

Coil is fine, but can pre-broken from Amazon
Coil works fine in 2002 Maxima, locking tab came pre-broken from Amazon and I bent a pin putting the plug on it. Unbent the pin and worked it in better, pin was probably pre-bent as well, but I didn't look. Probably a return IDK, seems sus. Zip tie holding the connector on. It works, but not ideal.

08 Xterra
Nissans are known for being picky with electronics. Most cars I go for a cheaper but reputable brand but not with my Xterra. Popped 6 of these in at 140k miles to cure a single cylinder misfire caused by a worn factory pack (if one coil went the others aren't usually far behind). Hitachi is the OE manufacturer of most of Nissans electronics and these are cheaper than buying direct from Nissan. Priced the same as Rockauto at the time I bought these. I expect no issues as Hitachi makes very high quality stuff and the ones I received were not counterfeit.

Great price
I bought these for my 2008 Xterra, and the markings on the actual part make them appear to be same as the OE. I was replacing them one at a time as they failed (170,000 miles), but found them here at 1/3 the price my local parts store gets for the same Hitachi coil. I just replaced the remaining 3 and will stick one of the 'good' ones in my travel tool bag.

Worked
Fit my 2011 Nissan Xterra. Fixed the misfire and made it run smooth. Has other issues but this one fixed it for a fraction of the price Orielly had it for.

Good coil installed in a 2004 Maxima. I have used many Hitachi parts through the years and have always been satisfied with their quality. Buy it!
