Very comfortable but don't bend it!
I wish I had ordered this a year ago when I stood at the kitchen sink for a half-hour washing baby bottles. My back would not have hurt the way it did. This is a very comfortable mat and everyone comments on it when then come over. When I took it out of the box I bent it in the opposite direction (just an automatic reaction for something that is rolled for me). It CLEARLY states not to bend it in the directions so I do have a crease down the middle but it's not something that's a big deal to me. I have owned this for a month now and the crease is still there but again, it was my fault and it doesn't change the feeling of the mat at all. The quality is great and I haven't had any issues about the edges as I've read from some other reviewers. It does not smell out of the box either. It stands up to shoes and feels great with bare feet and you see the imprint disappear after you step off of it. I find myself stepping on it and purposefully standing on it when in the kitchen.

Soft mat, very nice.
I thought I would fatigue a little less. But that's just me. This is very soft and I have never tripped on it. It's flat. It's big. It's soft. It matches our dark flooring color. Great mat. A little pricey. I use it at work for a standing desk. I am not sure I would spend $60 for home/kitchen use. I can't say if it's waterproof or not, but I hope it would be if used in the kitchen. Leaves my footprints in it for a lot longer than I thought it would! Meaning, it has good memory foam. This is not a problem. It comes up in maybe 45-60 seconds or so.

So comfy!
This mat is just what I was hoping it would be. I've seen these anti-fatigue mats and wanted to try one because I hate cooking - largely because after being on my feet all day (I'm a teacher), who wants to stand on a hardwood floor stirring and chopping? I got the "regular" size and put it by my sink - handy for washing dishes, and I can easily scoot it over to the stove. I'm thinking about getting a longer one for the prep area! It really does relieve the pressure of standing while cooking, washing dishes, etc. It looks nice, too - very high-end. I love this!

Great mat!
Great mat! I bought this mat because I am changing from a sit down desk to stand up to work. If you don't know about the benefits of standing research it on the Internet. It is said that working out 3x for 30 minutes a week won't give you the benefits that standing (if you have a desk job) provides. The size is large enough to take a few steps or shift your weight without stepping off the mat. When I placed my order the delivery date was on a Sunday. I figured it was a computer glitch but when I came home from church it was here! It feels nice wearing shoes or barefoot. Make sure you read the directions because there is a warning about getting liquid underneath, it will not evaporate or dry you must pick it up and clean there because it traps the water and you don't want that to ruin your floor/carpet or mat.I plan to buy another one for my home office as well.

Just okay!
I received my Anti Fatigue nantucket 20 inch comfort mat in a timely fashion. When I opened it I was a little surprised as it look a little less than okay. I got passed the fact of I thought it would look better than it did. It does have "okay" comfort. Could be better for the price in my opinion. I have it in front of my kitchen sink and it is just okay. I probably could have gone to the store and purchased a mat just as good for less money. We will see how long it last. Hopefully a long time. :)

Great for kitchen and bathroom.
I purchased one of these for the kitchen and one for the bathroom, both in front of the sink. I don't wear shoes on these mats, so I can't speak to the durability in that regard, but otherwise they have held up great for three years!Pros:-Reduces fatigue when washing dishes and doing makeup-Non-porous surface is easy to clean-Size is generous and thickness does not pose a tripping hazardCons:-Bathroom mat doesn't stay in place.**This is due to me leaning over the counter when applying makeup and the mat shifts maybe an inch per makeup session. For reference I weigh about 105 lbs. I can't feel it when I'm standing on the mat, but when I walk back into the bathroom I'll notice the mat has shifted away from the sink. To me this is not a big deal at all.

Nice, comfortable mat, acceptable appearance
The mats we received of this design arrived unwrinkled and ready to go. They laid almost completely flat from the outset, particularly along the edges. Initially we had to adjust to them being there. I wouldn't call it a tripping hazard, but gaining a general awareness to not shuffle your feet when you're in the vicinity may come at the cost of catching the edge once or twice. Since then we haven't had any issues with tripping on them. They have a a decent sloped edge that transitions just fine when laid on a hard floor. My biggest gripe has been what was initially viewed as a strength... cleaning them. This polar vortex winter we managed to track in copious amounts of snow and salt onto the mats through our kitchen back door which settled in to the tiny grooves. I had to get down on my hands and knees to get at these tiny crevices because the salty snow of course melted and dried white which made them look quite dirty even after being mopped vigorously. This is indeed a downside to the textured print design of this particular mat. Keep this in mind if you plan to put these in a heavily trafficked area where dirty water may be tracked over them. A mop just won't do the trick.

Good...was hoping for magic
I recently switched to a stand-up desk at work and by the fifth or sixth day, my feet were killing me. Ordered this hoping it would be the answer. It is a very good product. I think the quality is excellent. Is it keeping my feet from aching when I stand most of the work day? Well, to be honest, I'm still taking my shoes off, putting them back on, moving around, and taking a chair break fairly regularly. It is helping, but it seems to be so soft that when you stand for more than a few minutes in the same spot, it isn't doing as much for you as it would if you would moving a bit. I found a knock-off mat that looked a lot like this one, but for half the price, and it was a bit more firm. Maybe that would work better in my situation. In a couple months, I may try the knock-off and see if it suits me better. For now, this mat is good quality and is helping me with my new routine of standing at work.

Comfortable, yes, but not necessarily safe.
I bought this mat to use in front of the kitchen sink. For sure, it feels wonderful and cushion-y under your feet. Unfortunately, it is made with a fully synthetic relatively smooth surface and therefore, doesn't absorb any of the water drops that end up on the mat. So they sit there and then you step in them, and then there are water drops on the bottom of your slippers, or socks that go everywhere with you in the house/apartment.My other beef with it is that it is not as safe as they would like you to think it is. Yes, the edges are curved down to make a thin junction with the floor, but the rest of the mat is higher and bouncier, and that makes for a tripping hazard. I have, on numerous occasions, tripped on it as I go about cooking a meal, etc.and my footwear gets caught at the edge of the mat. I have to catch myself from seriously tripping. Luckily I have pretty good balance so have never gone down. But I'd be afraid for someone elderly or moderately handicapped to have this on the floor. I also wouldn't recommend using it in a workshop where power tools are used, as the tripping hazard could be a real risk to one's safety. So as comfy as it is (and it really does feel good), it has a few inherent problems with it.

Has this made a significant difference in my life? I can't say it has, however I can tell you this, this anti-fatigue mat sure does feel good on the feet.

How did we live without before?
Fantastic product. Not sure how we lived without it before. In fact, we are now thinking of getting more for the cottage! It makes a significant difference in comfort and back pain.
