ダビンチを始めた頃は、なくても良いがあったら便利という考えがあったが、これに慣れるとキーボードとマウスでやる気が起きない。かなりでかいので片付けて仕舞ったことがあった。すると誰しも引っ張り出すのが面倒になる。面倒だからといってモニター上の操作パネルを探してマウスでグレーディングをやったのだが、これがとてつもない手間暇となって引っ張り出した方が作業がすぐ終わることがわかった。結局定位置に設置してパネルが欠かせないものとなった。BMDのマジックにかかったようなもんだ。
