Perfect aid when embossing.

The only problem with this rubber sheet is that the texture actually is a lint magnet. I have a cat, and cat hair collects on this rather quickly. Clean up is easy, just run under water. The rubber mat sticks to the acrylic plates like static cling. So it doesn't really slip. I use this instead of the Cuttlebug brand because the price was much cheaper and reviews said it would work. It does a great job, I've embossed with it and used it beneath the B plates as I cut dies. It fits fine in my Cuttlebug and works as expected. A rubber mat seems to be a must have.

I watched a video about this product and could not imagine how it would make my projects any better than all the other shims, pads, etc. that I already owned. WRONG! If you do die cuts--- you must have this pad. I have a BIG KICK and a FISKARS which I love. I was amazed at the results when I used this with my metal dies. Embossing was deeper and cut out areas released out of the dies that I thought were solid areas. You have to boys the black Impressions Pad as they work in tandem. I do not know why they aren't sold as a set. Highly recommend this product. Be sure to watch videos online and read enclosed instructions to get the right sandwich for your particular machine and dies.

I use this to create impressions on my cards using my die cuts. It will not cut it, it just creates an impression of the image of the die. I use it with the Sizzix Big Shots. First layer is the first cutting pad, then the die (cutting edge facing up), the cardstock, the Silicone Rubber, then the second cutting pad. Run it through and ta-da!. Make sure you test it on leftover cardstock first to make sure it works the same for you. Happy crafting!

Metal dies does not cut through the rubber mat. Last very long time. But very static. Small debris of paper gets on the mat frequently. But easy to clean. Good quality. Great customer service. I really like this pad with the impressions pad combo. You can embossed purchased stencils or make your own. It's nice to emboss without a die and have the flex to make and cut your own stencils (I do them out of acetate sheets on my Cricut)
